Pros: Location!
I felt like I was staying in a poorly lit restaurant. The window was facing the aisle of the hotel which was completely useless unless privacy is not a concern. I stayed in Room#601 but I did notice that there were other rooms with similar layout. Valet parking is $36 per night but self park would cost you just $16 a night. The parking garage is less than 2 blocks from the hotel.

Checkin was fast and easy. There was no problem with parking. The staff were very professional and polite.

It was a great location and the cost was reasonable. The only issue I had was that the beds were pretty small, so when you are booking the two "double" beds room, and if you are planning to share the bed between two people, the fit can be pretty snug.

rooms smaller than an inexpensive NYC Hotel

Fairly shocking disappointment for what is typically an outstanding hotel chain. Rooms are TINY, hotel is beaten up and food service not at all up to standards. I will say that front desk staff were very nice and helpful.

Fits the bill

The room had everything you'd expect for business travel. The only thingbthat didn't work well was the iron. Although I was there for meetings around the corner at the JW, it was still within walking distance of great restaurants and things to see and do.

1st time in New Orleans

Dont ever get a room on the 1st floor. We were told the hotel didn't have any rooms anymore other than a double bed on the second floor and a single bed on the first floor and we could not cancel otherwise we will be charged for the room. On the first floor you can hear ppl on the outside yelling and homeless knocking on the window. The staff was friendly but def not accommodating for the crap room which had the worlds smallest bathroom. Couldn't even open the door of the bathroom without hiring the toilet. Next time venture out the price was ridiculous so, we expected a good room and good service yet, overall not a bad hotel but will definitely not book a room there for our next visit.
