Loud

Posted Sep 1, 2014
It did not appear the hotel had many guest but our room was next to a worker closet. Constant noise from the door opening and closing all week and all hours. The lobby allowed a huge group to hang out during the rain. Extremely loud, fights broke out and we were 5 floors up. Just loud!

Perfect place to stay in NOLA

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Nice fitness center. Convenient to attractions. Professional staff.
Location: French Quarter, Garden District, Harrah's Casino
This is the perfect hotel to stay in when visiting NOLA. It is convenient to the quarter, and the garden district. Facilities are top notch compared to all the other hotels I've stayed in when visiting NOLA.

Close to French Quarter without the noise

Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Clean, friendly staff. convenient to everything you want to go to at the French Quarter, safe at night
Cons: Water bottles at the market on the first floor were expensive. Blow dryer was cheap and took a long time to dry hair.
Location: CVS and Walgreen's nearby, St. Charles trolley right in front, very close to Bourbon St., World War II museum at the Warehouse district area
Just walk for a few minutes across Canal St. and you're on Bourbon St. If you are taking a cab from the airport, make sure you tell your driver it's on St. Charles St. because if you say it's IN the French Quarter, he'll take you to the Marriott on Iberville which is different. So the name of the place does accurately say it's NEAR the French Quarter. Very safe even in the wee hours of the morning. You can take the St. Charles trolley to the Garden District where you can look at the beautiful homes or get off Jackson St. and walk to Magazine St. for the antique stores. The stop is right in front by PJ's restaurant for $1.25 (exact change) one way or $3 all day pass. The hotel is clean, the staff is friendly and very helpful. Basic needs are there. Walking distance to Harrah's casino, Cafe Du Monde, Riverwalk. etc.

Good hotel in good location.

Posted Aug 7, 2014
Traveled for business. It was a very good price, a 15-20 minute walk to Convention Center and just off the French Quarter. Not a particularly romantic or luxurious place for a getaway, but great for business or travelers on a budget.

Walking Distance to the French Quarter

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds Friendly staff Best Breakfast
Cons: The shower head in our room was very hard to adjust & was either too hot or too cold
Location: Right near everything New Orleans has to offer
This hotel was by far one of our favorites we've stayed at. Very clean & great staff. Everyone was very friendly. They helped us get a playpen for our daughter, and gave us a map & directions to where we wanted to go. Walking distance to anything you could want to do & far enough away to be away from the noise of the French Quarter. The breakfast was included with our rate & was fantastic, including Starbucks coffee & a full breakfast of eggs, bacor or sausage, toast and fried potatoes, or you could choose a breakfast sandwich or other options. They had 2 booths that had small TV's where you could eat & our 4 year old loved watching Mickey Mouse while eating his breakfast. Only complaint was the valet parking was a little confusing when we first pulled up, we had to circle back around the block after calling them because there weren't any parking spots. Next time we will just wait for one to open up. We would definitely stay here again!

Nice hotel great location to Bourbon Street

Posted Jul 12, 2014
Pros: The location
Cons: The tiny inner court yard room with no exterior window should be a different price point. It should also be CLEARLY DESCRIBED IN THE ROOM DESCRIPTION.
Location: Near Bourbon Street, French Quarter, Casino, and River Front.
When we checked in, we were placed in a room with an inner court yard with NO VIEW TO THE OUTSIDE! This room was also very small! It was so tight we couldn't pull the cart into the room to unload our luggage! When we asked for another room, they said no other room was available. They said we could move the next day if a room with an exterior view became available. The next day we were moved to another room that was nice.

Thanks for staying with us!!!! I hope that your trip was enjoyable. We did notice thatone opportunity that you had during your stay was the size of your room. I apologize about that; our hotel was formally a bank, so there is a unique set up here at our property, but I am happy that our desk agents were able to accomodate you the following day. I hope it wasn't too much of an inconvenience.

Close to the french quarter.

Posted Jun 24, 2014
In our first room, you couldn't turn on the water in the bathtub. So, not really sure how the cleaned it well from the guest before us. The carpet was very stained and dirty looking. The door to the cabinet that the mini fridge was in was falling off. I only realized that the shower wasn't working after my girls and wife were already in thier pajamas and were in bed. Called the front desk, they sent someone up. She said we would have to move rooms. She came back in a few minutes with a new key. We then had to pack everything up, and move down the hall. The new room also had very stained dirty looking carpet, and there were not enough bath towels forall four of us. We had to call for those, but it was delivered quickly. The staff was helpful, but I wouldn't stay there again.
