And I was sick from the oysters at the restaurant on my first night there. I don't think I need to say anything else. That's 3 strikes.

Dear Guest, Thank you for leaving some feedback regarding your recent stay with us. I am very sorry to hear the view and parking was a disappointment. Some of our rooms do have a courtyard view and I apologize that this was not satisfying. We offer a valet only service at our hotel and since we do not have onsite parking, there is a fee for parking. I know you’ll find many, if not all, hotels in the downtown area charge for parking due to the prime location. We do make these fees available for guests to review prior to booking. Whilst I apologize you were sick however I am sure you ate at many restaurants in New Orleans. We have never heard allegations of sickness due to our Oysters before and we have no other reported guest issues. I do hope you were able to go out and enjoy the city. Thank you again.

Pros: price and location
Location: Oceana is a great restaurant on the corner of Bourbon and Conti. Mother's is another great restaurant, however you would have to catch the trolley.
The Crowne Plaza is located on the corner of canal and bourbon street and close to everything! The trolley station is directly across the street and its only $3 per day for an all day pass. The staff was friendly, the room was nice and clean and the beds were comfortable.

Good location for New Orleans

Pros: Location
Cons: remodeling
Location: next to McDonalds and the restaurant in the hotel looked busy. We did not eat there, but plan to. We ate supper just around he corner, Acme Oyster
Check in was easy. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Looked like it needs remodeling. There was no vent in the bathroom, so it steamed up the mirrors when I took a shower. Also, a pipe from another room made a lot of noise. If you're going to NO, this is a good location. Can walk in three directions easily.

Hotel needs serious upgrading!

Pros: close to bourbon street.
Cons: Hotel condition needs serious upgrade. Staff is not suitable to work in the hospitality industry.
Location: Hotel is AT Bourbon street. Best location if that is what you are after.
I travel often and never write reviews but had such a bad experience at this Hotel that felt compelled to. In room A/C was extremely noisy and had the fan pointed directly to the bed's top (ie, my head). A/C wouldn't turn off even when set to OFF and/or temperature adjusted to avoid it to go on. Had to call the staff several times before they agreed to "hard-switch" it off. Ordered a few packages to be delivered to the hotel. Staff couldn't find it and would argue they weren't delivered, despite me showing them the delivery/signature confirmation. After a couple days they were found and I was charged $5/package (which apparently is a norm in N.O). After I left, another small amount charge was added to my credit card without justification!

I assure you that our staff is not trained to be unwelcoming and I will be notifying the department heads of our lack of service you received. Additionally, I am sorry to hear about the miscommunication on the packages. We have recently worked to implement a better system for signing of packages to ensure we know exactly where the packages are located. We do notify guests that there will be a handling fee for all packages delivered to the hotel. This is a standard across many larger properties in the US. I hope that the rest of your stay was enjoyable and that you saw everything our great city has to offer. We’d like to invite you to come back and stay with us again in the future to see how well our changes are working. Thank you.

Cons: PILLOWS!!
I really enjoyed the hotel. It was very nice and clean and close to everything!! My only complaint would be about the pillows. They were were way too hard and flat. I would definetely stay there again!
