Great hotel..will be back!!!Posted Aug 7, 2014
I have been to NOLA many times but this is my first time at this hotel. The staff was so friendly and helpful. I have to say Joshua was amazing and really provided alot of character and was great with recommendations for us. The rooms were very clean and the beds were extremely comfortable. I loved the location and will definitely be back to this hotel.

Lovely French quarter hotelPosted Aug 5, 2014
Lovely French quarter hotel… Lives up to its picture online. Convenient to the French quarter without being in the middle of the madness. An easy walk to Canal Street to hop on the streetcar or to the Riverwalk. Hotel staff was friendly and hospitable. Little extras such as bottled water in the room, iced tea and ice water and cookies provided daily in the vestibule, were added touches. The pool was nice for the kids. Seating areas around the pool was very comfortable. The breakfast is simple but adequate. Workout room was tidy and useful. Lots of charm in this older hotel. There are actually three or even four separate buildings. We stayed in the main one. There is a carriage house across the street. The only negative was roof work being done during our stay started pretty early in the morning. But surely that will be finished soon!

Cons: More chairs around the pool.
I would definitively return to this hotel if I go back to NewOrleans. Very good for the price I paid. The staff was always smiling and helpfull. The room was clean and confortable. Included breakfast was also very good.

I would stay here again!Posted Jul 27, 2014
Pros: The staff was the best!
I booked a trip to New Orleans on a whim, I did my research and liked what I had found about the Dauphine Orleans. When I checked in the staff was very helpful and friendly. I had lots of questions about the area and they were so kind and offered me lots of great ideas. The breakfast offered was delicious and the staff that provided it was friendly and would stop and talk to you which is always refreshing. The free wi-fi was appreciated along with the bottles of water left daily. Would most definitely recommend this hotel and I will stay there on my next visit.

Not pleased.Posted Jul 22, 2014
Pros: Location and bed comfort.
Cons: Customer service.
We arrived one hour prior to check-in after being caught in a massive rain storm. I was told that zero rooms were available until 3:00. I even said we would take any room available due to be drenced from the rain and no where to really walk around due to the rain. However, I stayed around the lobby area and saw two guests after me get rooms...which of course was very upsetting. After getting our room magically one hour later our bathroom tub was dirty like it had never been cleaned. The bed however was very comfortable. When I checked out the next day I asked if I could pay with a different form of payment (cash) instead using the card I used when booked. I was told absolutely not because I paid through Expedia and "they don't even see those invoices." I almost exclusively book through expedia and can always change the way I pay when I get to the hotel. Very disappointed in the customer service. Lastly, we used the valet and they called us after parking the car requesting our car keys...which we had obviously left with them. They ended up finding them, but it was pretty stressful.

Perfect location with access to everything!!!Posted Jul 20, 2014
The staff was beyond friendly and so much fun to interact with every day. The historical information about the hotel and cottages made the stay that much more interesting. The pool area saved our lives on a daily basis by offering a wonderful relaxing cool down and a chance to meet other guests and friends. We loved every second of our stay!!!

Handy and comfortablePosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Very handy to the sights of the French Quarter
Cons: The musty smell of the bar area
Location: Keep clear of Bourbon St but any other place in the French Quarter, Frenchman St, Public transport etc is within comfortable walking distance
Only 1 block from the debauched Bourbon St the Dauphine was a comfortable, friendly, reasonably priced accommodation. A lovely breakfast included in the price capped off a pleasurable stay .
