Perfect location with access to everything!!!Posted Jul 20, 2014
The staff was beyond friendly and so much fun to interact with every day. The historical information about the hotel and cottages made the stay that much more interesting. The pool area saved our lives on a daily basis by offering a wonderful relaxing cool down and a chance to meet other guests and friends. We loved every second of our stay!!!

Handy and comfortablePosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff. Very handy to the sights of the French Quarter
Cons: The musty smell of the bar area
Location: Keep clear of Bourbon St but any other place in the French Quarter, Frenchman St, Public transport etc is within comfortable walking distance
Only 1 block from the debauched Bourbon St the Dauphine was a comfortable, friendly, reasonably priced accommodation. A lovely breakfast included in the price capped off a pleasurable stay .

Close to the action but quiet and peaceful!Posted Jul 15, 2014
Some of the nicest people working in this facility! If you need suggestions of tours and/or places to eat stop at the front desk and meet some of the most professional folks in the industry! Walking distance to Bourbon St and all of the action this has to offer but super quiet and calm facility in the midst of it all.

Cons: The breakfast choices.
Location: I just did.
Everything is in walking distance. Trust me you will want to walk after eating the great food at so many different choices. First time there and it was a wonderful experience.

Dauphine Orleans HotelPosted Jul 10, 2014
Great hotel, close to everything. As a solo traveler, I felt safe and hotel staff were quick to help with questions about the safety of the area, and were helpful with directions. The location of the hotel was perfect, and in walking distance to all I wanted to explore. Great hotel, great charming city!

Stay in New OrleansPosted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: They had afternoon tea - cookies and iced tea or lemon water. Nice in the heat of the day. Employees were pleasant and considerate.
Location: Within walking distance of everything in the French Quarter in New Orleans.
I had a room that had an inner courtyard balcony. Comfortable and fairly quiet. Continental breakfast had several options for breakfast - cold and hot. I went on a couple of tours (not part of the hotel service) and the buses would pick you up from your hotel. Enjoyed my 4 days there.

Great location in the french quarterPosted Jul 2, 2014
Pros: the breakfast every morning was sufficient, and included in the room price
Cons: the maid service - non existent!
Location: right in the French Quarter, one block from Bourbon Street.
We were pleased with the location and cleanliness of the hotel, it was comfortable and the staff were friendly.....except, we stayed for 4 nights, and never had maid service. Our towels weren't ever changed or bed made, or carpet vacuumed, nothing....until we called on our final day there....because we were completely out of clean towels after 4 days!!! No compensation was offered, nothing was offered other than 2 complimentary drinks at Mae Baileys.....sort of disappointing. So, if we went again....we would make sure our room was cleaned and towels replenished every day!!
