“Extremely convenient.”

Could not be more convenient if you have an early flight out or late flight in. Literally next door to the airport, with a 24-hour shuttle that runs whenever and wherever you want it to within three miles of the hotel.

“disappointed”

Hotel was not a 3 rating! Carpet had numerous bare spots. Bathroom door was difficult to close due to warn hinges. Not the cleanest. Would not stay here again. Booked without knowing the name or address and will think twice before booking like this again. Also assumed hotel was in Metairie as requested, but was in Kenner.

“The attitude of staff was 5 out of 5 in my book!”

What the hotel did not look like as far as structure it made up with the employees great attitude. My grandson left his Ipod and I could not leave the airport and was able to call and the staff went and retrived the item. I only had to get Fedx to pick up from the hotel. Than really impressed me enough to stay again in the future and tell other about the great services at this hotel.

Events and shows

We tool the tour and it was great with a lot of history! Than we went downtown to the event which was exciting to everyone. The shop was great as well.

“Days Inn Stay was absolutely excellent!”

We stayed overnight just the night prior to a cruise our grown-up family was going on. Several of our members took a trip down to the French Quarter and really enjoyed themselves. Staff was very helpful in making arrangements to the cruise port. They do not have shuttles to the cruise port but made suggestion that we reserve a larger van or two for the 9 of us on this trip. The only thing that would have made this better was for cruiseport transfers being available.... but the price was more than right for the hotel for the 9 of us. Thanks for the excellent service.

French Quarter..... but try to avoid weekend evenings.... very dangerous if you are not used this type of roudyness! Excellent Food!

“Inconvenient Parking arrangements”

I will not stay at this hotel again. The curtains in the room were mildewed. The parking is horrible because it is a shared airport parking lot.. Our room was near the pool, but we had to park all the way at the back of the hotel and had to walk in the middle of the night at least 10 minutes to get to our room. The staff was polite, no complaints there.

“Not very nice”

I booked this hotel blind based on a 4 star rating. This was not a nice place. The hotel is old and dirty and the parking is awful. No spaces available at all. I wanted a place close to the airport and it was close. The rate was low but I would gladly pay more for something else. The staff were friendly enough and nothing in particular happened during our stay that tipped this rating to the lower end. We simply had a normal stay of 3 days at a property in need of a complete makeover.

“Marginal hotel”

When we arrived at 3pm, we were told that there were no rooms ready for check-in. We were told we could leave our luggage in the office, and if we came back in 30 minutes, there should be a room ready. We went to the attached Denny's to eat, and the service there was terrible as well. After an hour, we went to try and check in again, only to be told there were still no rooms for us that were clean. We waited another 30-45 minutes for a clean room, and finally got the keys. The hotel isn't laid out well, and there are no signs/directions on how to get to the rooms from the lobby. The room was fairly clean, a standard hotel room. It is directly across the highway from the airport though, so be warned, it is very loud. The air traffic also causes the tv to loose channels. Not a *bad* place to stay, but I wouldn't recommend it either.
