Nice hotel. Close to Bourbon Street

Hotel staff was nice. Casino right across the street. Room was small but clean. They charged 38.00 per day for parking so we had to get creative about parking elsewhere. Overall the stay was nice.

Security was herendous

Cons: Security
Hello, I rented this room for my son and girlfriend which was visiting from out of town. At 2:00am Sunday morning, they were awaken by another couple entering their room, WOW. Then, 30 minutes later a hotel employee entered their room with out knocking. I still do not have an answer as to why this would happen!!!!

the price keeps adding

Pros: proximity to water and downtown was good
Cons: valet /parking
Location: right next to frenchqaurter and harrods casino
waited and hour for check in at 2:30 pm no place to leave luggage so one had to wait. hotelview to house wall. You have to pay 38 dollars to valet park or find the nearest parkhouse and pay almost the same and walk a block or more. the car is parked 6 blocks away from hotel valet parking, so account for at least 30 min prior to leaving room was ok no frig. small

OK hotel, OK location

Posted Sep 8, 2014
Pros: Price
Cons: Staff, Rooms are small
Location: Casino, French Quarter
Far from the best doubletree I have ever stayed in. If you want a better hotel look at the Sheraton about a block and a half north. It will be more expensive but certainly is nicer.

Covenient location on Canal Street

Posted Sep 3, 2014
Pros: Location, price.
The hotel is located next to Harrah's Casio and two blocks from the Aquarium. It is also a short walk to the French Quarter. The room was comfortable, but the carpeting was a bit worn and could be replaced. Overall, it was a good hotel for the price.

Average hotel average price

The room was poorly sound proofed such that when the shower was run in the adjacent room it sounded like it was our shower. Daily cleaning of our room was done very late in the day

Even the Elevator welcomed me, everyday

Posted Aug 31, 2014
Location: it was at the end of canal street next door to harrah's so I was not near the abundance of riff raff as like the other end of Canal Street.
very nice staff, responsive, friendly and was a little more than expected. the best part is that no matter what time of day or night the Elevator was always there with open doors ready to whisk me to the 13th fl.
