Nice but lacking.Posted Apr 25, 2015
Pros: Location and ammenities.
Cons: Better internet connection in the business center and less cost for parking.
Location: WWII museum, the French Quarter, shopping, and events were within walking distance.
Hotel was in the Warehouse District, close to shopping, sightseeing, and activities. However, the rooms were oldish and a little less than expected for an Embassy Suites. As in most hotels, the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, but the evening snacks were lacking in choice and variety. The most surprising part was the cost of the parking -- thought it was rather exorbitant. Also, my wife connected to her e-mail in the business center but I could not connect with my e-mail. However, we both connected from our personal computer in the room.

Fantastic Experience!!Posted Apr 12, 2015
We booked this hotel on Expedia and checked in within 30 minutes. It was an overall great experience! Hotel staff starting with the valet were extremely pleasant and helpful. Our room was clean and very comfortable. Complimentary breakfast was great. The bellman were so nice and friendly. Everything about the experience was great!

HOTEL WAS IN A GREAT LOCATION FOR USPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: THE COMPLIMENTARY BREAKFAST. ....TAXIS EVER READY FOR SERVICE
Cons: WE ASKED FOR A WAKE UP CALL AT 3 AM, BUT DID NOT RECEIVE IT, AND WE COULD'VE MISSED OUR FLIGHT...WE DID NOT APPRECIATE THAT ONE BIT.
Location: WE LIKE THE LOCATION OF BEING NEAR THE SHIP DOCK.
WE HAD STAYED BEFORE, NOTHING MORE OR LESS THAN WE EXPECTED.

I have stayed in Better for less moneyPosted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: The Breakfast was ok but that is about it!
Cons: Service and prices and customer service.
Location: French Quarter is about 2 miles from the hotel.
First of all our bill was over $300 more than what expedia had stated. Then room service only came to the room once in our four night stay and we ran out of toilet paper. the door handle in the bathroom fell off and there was random little white bugs in the bathroom. For the price there are better hotels to stay at. The pool is very very small and so is their sunbathing deck. The drinks at the bar are over priced and extra small. I was disappointed. Oh and be prepared to wait 10-15 for an elevator.!

Close to mallPosted Mar 10, 2015
Hotel clean but the noise outside kept us awake. Only one small size bed for two people. Had to leave early to catch the train so no free breakfast as offered (they didn't serve early). Told to call downstairs and they would call a cab. When we called they did not answer. The lady at the desk was rude and took her slow time when she seen we were in a hurry!!! Payed 100.00 more than I did at the Hilton!! Go there they were super and everything was great!!!!

Embassy Suites in NOLAPosted Feb 18, 2015
Cons: don't rent the rooms that are too small, and if you need to do renovations, don't rent the rooms that are in the areas of the renewing. ours was.
Location: the hotel is located close to French Quarter and close to all the parades for Mardi Gras
In general the hotel was okay, but the room we had was maybe one of the smallest rooms we've ever had in all of our travels and we travel a lot. This room probably had a bed that was maybe a full size, it certainly wasn't any larger than full size. the room was barely large enough to have this bed in it. I thought the premise of Embassy Suites was that all rooms were suites, that clearly wasn't the case for us. Room seemed clean, location was very good, but again, this room size was shockingly small. again, a single room, where the full size bed took most of the room, and a closet, and a bathroom. After spending the afternoon in New Orleans and already with plans for a cruise out the next day, we decided that when we returned from the cruise we'd stay at least another day in New Orleans and enjoy Mardi Gras. That being said, we booked a room at the Westin, which was really nice and quite a bargain given what we had just experienced at the Embassy Suites. Our next visit to New Orleans, we'll see if we can book the Westin, if not, we'll find another hotel, but Embassy Suites will be very low on our list of hotels to stay.
