Request for supervisor if u have issues

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, supervisor and cleanliness.
Cons: Remove the lady at the reception from that position and put her where she does not need to interact with customers
I booked 2 rooms and requested for both to be next to each other. On arrival, the 2 rooms were on different floors, l requested for them to be on the same floor again, she told me that all rooms were booked up. I requested for the supervisor and it took less than 30 seconds for the supervisor to find 2 adjacent rooms. I forgot to get the name of the lady that was on duty that night, (6/25/2014). She sure don't need to be in that position. Apart from that, we had a wonderful experience.

Valet only.

The hotel and the hotel staff were great. Valet only garage parking was poorly marked and the valet staff need more costumer relations training.

Was at this hotel for four wonderful nights. Staff were great and always responsive to my requests. Location was perfect, short walk to streetcars and French Quarter, one block to Arts District.

Outdoor rooms need help!!!

Posted May 29, 2014
The entrance and lobby was really nice. Staff attentive. No room safe, but security box at front desk. Our room was 903 which meant walking through a glass door to outside rooms. The doors had chipped white paint and were difficult to open. The room itself was a small 2-room suite with a shared balcony. There were no chairs placed out to sit on either. The bathroom was updated and clean. Backlit mirror was nice touch. Is it me, or are the fridges shrinking?? Breakfast was good--as usual. They had egg whites available. Only went to manager's social once since my husband doesn't drink-- sangria was good. All in all would stay again, just paint the outside doors. Lost one point for the ugly factor.

Definately Staying Here AGAIN!

Beautiful hotel! Very friendly staff! Upgraded our room to 2 Queen beds no problem! Loved the free breakfast - hot and lots of food! Free cocktail drinks from 5 - 730 every night. Gotta try the Hurricane ;) (contains Rum) Yummy! Catch a cab very easily in front of hotel. New Riverwalk Outlet Mall just opened - 2 blocks away. Everything is within walkin distance! WWII Museum, Children's Museum, French Quarter, Harrah's Casino. Jackson Square & St. Louis Cathedral.

Nice hotel, comfortable and good location.

Pros: The bed was very comfortable. It was within walking distance to the French Quarter, the Natchez steamboat, casino, aquarium etc.
Cons: Update the website (there is no hot tub as stated in the description) and the pool needs to be cleaned.
Location: Walking distance to the Natchez steam boat, casino, Canal Street, French Quarter and street car.
Very comfortable room, great buffet breakfast included. The front desk staff was friendly enough, not outstanding but nice. The tour info desk staff was amazing. They are very friendly and knowledgeable. The breakfast cooking staff is very friendly and provided great tasting food. I found the staff member at the entrance of the buffet restaurant should have a bit more information about the hotel. When I tried to get to the pool which you have to get through the restaurant she said the pool was on the 2nd floor. I went back to the front desk and they said no, I was going in the right direction. I went back and let her know in case she gave the wrong info to other guests. We were in a great location, close enough to walk to the French Quarter, aquarium, casino, steamboat etc. and we felt safe compared to closer to the French Quarter off Canal Street. If you stay here and want to try a great restaurant other than the hundreds of places who primarily serve sea food, try Bei Tempe. Fantastic restaurant a block away off of Convention Blvd. I was disappointed that the website said there was a hot tub. When I explained to the front desk the pictures on the site were different, she said it was outdated and they haven't changed it yet. There is no indication that this was a recent change. It looks like there was never a hot tub there when looking around the pool area.
