Big Bang for Your Buck

Posted Aug 13, 2014
Only 15 minutes from French Quarter! Clean, safe area, the beds were super comfortable and there was a brand new flat screen. There was a nice desk, kitchenette, and chair! It was quite and the staff was attentive and friendly. Bathroom was clean, which is a huge priority for me because I hate yucky hotel bathrooms. Would definitely stay here again if I go back to new orleans!

Excellent towels and sheets

Pros: The security.
Cons: Update the kitchenettes and the old antiquated lounge chairs in each room. Include a chair at the computer table .
Location: It was not in a good neighborhood but I felt safe due to being on the Naval Base..
The hotel is on an old semi-functioning Naval base much to my surprise. My friends were stopped by policemen while trying to come to visit therefore I felt safe at the hotel. It was not in a great neighborhood but it was clean. Great bus accomodations!!!

Nice Room with Kitchenette

Posted Jun 29, 2014
Pros: It was pet friendly. Parking was free.
Location: The hotel was only a couple of miles from the ferry. We took it both times over New Orleans and from there we were just steps from everything.
This was a nice hotel room with a kitchenette. This was really handy for breakfasts and other meals. The room was large and comfortable. The only problem we had was with locating it on our GPs.

Nice for the cost and closeness to New Orleans.

Pros: Expedia
Location: Conveniently located close to downtown and we found a great little breakfast restaurant in Algiers. The history of Federal City was interesting.
When we were trying to locate the hotel, we were getting worried because of the neighborhood that was surrounding the hotel. However, once we found the hotel, it was located inside a very stable community and we saw the police drive through several times during our 4 day visit.

It's ok!

Not bad for the area.. A little pricey would recommend booking online for a better deal.. The receptionist was very helpful and accommodating. The room was clean and comfortable. Didn't have to use the kitchen but it's available for you if needed. The outside of the facilities was clean. Would recommend to a friend.

close to downtown New Orleans. Rooms were clean, very large, quiet, and had a kitchenette. The hotel felt very safe and it was a very reasonable price.
