Noisy hotel in the very center of action

Posted Jan 25, 2015
Pros: Concierge was great and very patient with our ideas and requests.
Cons: Enforce the quiet time at the hotel.
Location: Location is great: where all the happenings take place.
I stayed at the hotel for a week. Weekend was full of party people, drinking, noisy, shouting in the middle of the night... Not a good way to prepare for the meeting next day. Also our room was facing the street so there was a lot of noise coming from the outside as well. Next few days we changed room. New room was facing the pool area and all the weekend party people were gone anyway, so it was much more pleasant. If having trouble with the noise, make sure to get your earplugs at the reception desk :)

Perfect Location!

Posted Jan 24, 2015
We stayed in a room that has a balcony overlooking Bourbon St. The location was perfect! Right in the middle of all the action and within walking distance to the French market. The hotel was beautiful and staff was courteous.

On Bourbon Street

Posted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Staff was nice. Hotel lobby and bar are great.
Cons: If customers are ready and check in is at 4:00 pm at least provide a drink or resturant credit for appetizers if the rooms are not ready after 4:30 pm
Location: good restaurants, bars, shops, and local artist nearby.
Check in is at 4:00 took until 6:00 for a room to open. Waited in lobby. Thought they might provide a free drink or reduced rate to compensate for the delay but none was offered. Apparently guests from the night before trashed a large number of rooms which delayed cleaning and preparation. Once in the rooms they were clean one room must have had the carpets spot cleaned still some wet spots on the floor-hope it was cleaned. The lobby is great and a comfortable place to hang out if you have to wait. Expect noisy hallways as other guests return from the bars most of the night. If you like the real party this place will put you there and will be a great place to stay. If your looking for the Bourbon Street experience but would like to step away you might consider another location.

The hotel staff were very welcoming and friendly. The room was extremly clean and the bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in! The location was perfect for walking everywhere in the quarter and to Jackson square. Room #321 we will be back. :)

A Good Place to Stay On Bourbon

Posted Jan 14, 2015
Pros: I love having a balcony room for that one night that you want to people watch instead of fighting the crowd
Cons: The staff's reaction to younger customers - No one has ever been rude exactly, but I hate being treated differently because I'm 23 & can afford a room
Location: It's great because it's on Bourbon Street, in the French Quarter. Shops, restaurants & entertainment are just outside the front door
This is my second time staying at the Four Points since it was taken over by Sheraton. The rooms are clean, the staff has been continuously friendly, and it's usually much less expensive than staying at the Royal Sonesta if you want a balcony room. It's not as personable as it used to be before being taken over by Sheraton, but for what you pay, you do get your value.

Bourbon Street at it's Finest!

Posted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: Comfortable, great location, great price!
Location: On Bourbon Street in the heart of the French Quarter; central to everything! Walk to the Court of Two Sisters for the jazz brunch!!
Perfect location! Valet parked our vehicle and left it (hotel has a come and go policy which is terrific because some other's in the area do not)! Directly on Bourbon Street in the heart of the French Quarter. Wonderful and entertaining views from the balcony and a great location for walking. Room was spacious and clean with an amazingly comfortable bed, big TV and great wi-fi. Even though the room was on the street it was quiet! Staff was terrific -- valets, front desk and bag handler all super friendly and professional.
