First trip to New Orleans

Posted Dec 16, 2014
Pros: had a room over the pool where it is quiet at night, good security at night when bourbon street gets a bit rowdy
Location: great location - not far from anything we wanted to visit
visiting new Orleans for the first time, had a lot to see and everything was fairly close by the hotel

Nice high-end hotel on Bourbon Street

Posted Dec 12, 2014
Pros: Location, quality
Location: It's at the corner of Bourbon and Toulouse. Too many things to list - restaurants, bars, live music, strip clubs.
I stayed at this hotel for 1 night after a bachelor party weekend. It's a great location if you want to be on Bourbon Street. It's not a party type hotel and I wouldn't have stayed here with the bachelor party crew. I didn't get to try the restaurant or bar but it looks nice, and they do have a pool.

Cons: Rates chane BIG TIME over night. Even if I am at the hotel and they have rooms available (due to people that cancal) The rates tripple! Give same rate
Location: bourbon street near all the cool bars!!!
Had a great time in NOLA. I Love to stay on Bourbon Street. I like to walk to my room, not get a cab or drive, after a night of parting on Bourbon St.

Perfect location for the quarter

Posted Dec 2, 2014
I booked this hotel for my birthday celebration in the quarter. It was slow season so was upgraded to a balcony room. Everyone was very friendly and hotel is at a great price. Will stay here again!!

You can't be the location. We had a balcony right on Bourbon Street. We knew to bring earplugs for sleeping at night! the only issue we had was the cleaning staff didn't restock everything each day (missing coffee one day, creamer and splenda the next.)

Great location, needs a renovation

Posted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: Location, staff friendliness, TV input availability, cleanliness.
Cons: Dated decor, mattress quality.
We were looking for a spot in the French Quarter for a 3 night stay at short notice. This hotel met the need and the write ups seemed acceptable. The hotel is in a great location right on Bourbon Street where all of the action and if this is the only thing you are looking for this is the hotel for you. Unfortunately, while the downstairs looks good, the rooms need a renovation as they are clearly dated in both design and comfort - the bed was not supportive at all to name the most glaring issue. Some may think the hotel fittings fit in with the area, but for the price I would expect a bit more quality. One thing that was great was the ability to hook up the iPad to the TV through HDMI for a movie when the weather turned bad.
