“For Tourists With Rental Cars and at least an OK Knowledge of Jefferson Parish”
Nice hotel, far away from anything interesting (don't let them fool you, this place is miles away from Orleans city center, but nice all the same. My big complaint is that the internet was not working during my stay, but the concierge never mentioned it when I checked in, even though she knew I had a computer (I asked her to hold it while I pushed my luggage to my room). They waited for me to call, and I was offered nothing to make up for the inconvenience (even though their high speed internet played a big part in me choosing that hotel.) Room service was prompt, and the staff that delivered it was friendly and nice. The rib eye steak was awesome and cooked perfectly. Bathtub was a little old and rusty (looked kind of dirty) but they offered neutrogena brand soaps and lotions. The room had a fridge and microwave, which was nice, and the hotel had this little section next to the front desk that sold microwave popcorn and other good snacks (kinda like one big minibar for everybody, with minibar prices!) They did one really nice thing which was offer me the free airport shuttle, even though I had to be at the hotel and hour before the shuttle usually starts (I had to be at the airport by 4, the shuttle usually starts at 5.) That was real customer service. Other than the internet, (the repairman couldn't make it til the next day, prob. happens a lot seeing as they are way out by the ponchartrain center, aka nowhere) I would definitely recommend this hotel.

“Perfect Hotel for the price and location”
LOVED the Lake Pontchartrain levy, the close proximity of the Treasure Chest Casino, the piers on the lake, and the airport. I also loved the ability to walk the neighborhood safely. The perfect suburban setting! Best hotel in the New Orleans area, lots to do right there!

A little out of the way to get to downtown N.O. but affordable and nice. Right next to a casino.
“Not what i expected.”
The hotel was not that close to the airport and was not in an interesting area. There was a lack of sound proofing that made the stay less enjoyable. Unless you intend to gamble (it is by the casino) I would not recommend this place, especially given the deals available elswhere.
“Kinda noisy”
My only complaint was that you can here everyone in the halls and you can hear the people upstairs walking around. Other than that, the room was very clean and the bed and pillows were
