Not in the center of things but nicePosted Mar 13, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff
Cons: Taxis service
Location: A little far from local attractions. Close to convention center and a couple of museums.
Hotel staff, especially the valets, were very good. Hotel is about 10 blocks from Canal Street and cabs are few. Valets went the extra mile to obtain cabs for us. Friendly restaurant staff and the food was good. Walking distance from the Convention center (and 2 Starbucks). We would stay there again.

Quiet And Clean.Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: Quiet and Clean
Hotel is located on South Peters St. not far from Trolley Stop that goes to the French Quarters. It is a very clean hotel which is rare for New Orleans. Best place to stay in New Orleans if you want a quiet and clean hotel, but a 12 minute walk to the Quarters.

Nice hotel!Posted Mar 12, 2014
Pros: The service.
Cons: The bed was too firm!
Location: Canal street .... Shopping!
The hotel was nice overall. The staff was very helpful and friendly. We ordered service, the food was good and service was prompt. The only draw back was the bed; it was too firm for us.

Nice hotel close to the heart of NOLAPosted Mar 10, 2014
Pros: The pool and jacuzzi.
Cons: More towels by the pool.
Location: Convention center. Canal Street. A shopping center with WalMart, Subway, and Pizza hut is a short drive east.
The entrance to the hotel is nice. The staff is courteous. Once you enter the room, it all functions well and is nicely decorated. The pool is heated. The jacuzzi is hot. Really close to downtown and to the convention center. The walls are not very sound proof, and we heard the neighbors party, but luckily they did this only for a short while. I got a better deal on the hotel from Expedia.com then what they were willing to offer at the front desk. Parking was an additional fee, but the valet staff were nice. Breakfast not included.

Never againPosted Mar 10, 2014
Hotel was nice but staff had no respect. When you call they just hang up. Customer service was poor and the $35 a night parking is crazy for a hotel with their own garage.

Mardi Gras DelightPosted Mar 4, 2014
Pros: The staff, hotel location, our room and the overall appearance.
Cons: A little better housekeeping in the room.
Location: The hotel is walking distance to the convention center, Harrahs casino and shopping.
We stayed at this hotel for 4 nights while attending the New Orleans Mardi Gras. We selected it because it was a Hilton hotel and its location. It was close to the convention where the Ball we were attending would be held and it was walking distance to many of the parade routes. Everything was great. Our room, the food in the restaurant and the staff was over the top. The hotel staff made this hotel a 5 star. The front desk, the bellman, security and especially the restaurant (Cassandra and Ashley) and others greeted you everyday with a smile. They were always asking if you needed anything. By the time we left they felt like family. Our only complaint would be the hotel and parking rates. The rates for everything was jacked up because it was Mardi Gras weekend. I think breakfast should have been included based on the higher than normal room rate. But based on the location and service we would stay here again if we came back for Mardi Gras.

Solid hotel with fantastic staffPosted Feb 27, 2014
Perfect location if you are attending an event at the Convention Centre. Less than 150 metres to the centre of the convention building. Fantastic staff, friendly and of great service. Good light, and nice room. In hotel restaurant was ok, but there are some outstanding alternative options within 5 - 10 minute walking distance. ie. Pechi's. Bei Temps. Chardroun. And if you want some great Italian - catch a cab or 20 minute walk to Domenica at the Roosevelt Hotel. Wifi connection was solid and free. Bed was amazingly comfortable. Room was impeccably clean. The room door just had some paint coming away from the bottom. They immediately moved me to the top floor, as I was there for business and there was a group of cheerleaders throughout the rest of the hotel - very considerate of their guests needs. Good small business centre as well. I would definitely stay again for business, but would choose something in the French Quarter if I was going for fun.

Good for a Comic Con weekendPosted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Very close to the New Orleans Convention Center, great breakfast buffet, and a nice garden patio and a park in front of it
Cons: The staff could be more informed on the hotel's policies. The valet could not explain the charges very clearly.
Location: Within close walking distance of the New Orleans Convention Center. Within a 20 minute walk of the French Quarter.
We were able to check in early (2:30PM) and late checkout (2PM) at no extra charge. The valet and the front desk could not explain the way the valet worked but we decided to go with it anyway because we didn't trust the parking structure across the street and we didn't want to have to deal with the car all weekend. The maids took longer than usual to clean the room (after 1PM). The hotel was conveniently close to the convention center and we were able to go back and forth from the convention to the hotel multiple times a day. The best part was the breakfast buffet. The service was great, homestyle Louisiana seasoning and it only cost us $31 for 2 people and tip. In the end, the valet was $67.20 and they only charged me for 2 days even though we left late on the 3rd day. They did not tell us until we were about to check out that if they pull the car up to the front of the hotel they were not going to put it back in the garage. Instead they gave us the option of walking with them to the garage to put stuff in our car while we went to the convention. Overall a great stay and we will stay here for next years Comic Con.
