Parking staff a liitle too young and did not care about my car. Mud all over the mats and music blasting on a rap station...Overnight valet $40, across the street covered parking $20....

Nice Hotel with great history.

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The History. It was an old masonic temple.
Cons: Really needs to be updated but it was clean and comfortable with a great staff.
Location: A bit of a walk to the French Quarter but not too bad, nothing much to do at the hotel. There is a tiny bar in Luke but did not look inviting at all.
Just spent one night but it was nice. The one single thing that could have kept me there would have been a hotel lounge. You have so much space with all of the ballrooms etc.

Good Location & Interesting Historical Property

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location, restaurant
Cons: Training for the valet staff on customer service.
Location: Have a cocktail at the Sazerac Bar in the nearby Roosevelt Hotel.
My husband and I stayed at the Hilton for a long weekend. It's located just a couple of blocks from Bourbon Street in the quieter Central Business District. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. The restaurant, Luke, is fabulous and worth a visit even if you're not staying at the hotel. The front desk clerk, Judith, was very accommodating about finding us another room when we had some concerns about the room we initially were assigned. The building is a former Masonic Lodge with many of the original architectural details. The workout facility has nice, new machines and free weights. The only down side we found was that the valet staff were oddly unobservant of people arriving or needing help with negotiating the heavy front doors. The hotel would do well to better train these staff members since they help create the initial and last impression of the property.

Great location for walking to the French Quarters.

Posted Jun 23, 2014
The only problem was the overwhelming mildew smell in my room. I bought an air freshener at a pharmacy, and the smell improved. Otherwise, the hotel was perfect. Very comfortable bed in a spotless room. There is a free wine happy hour in the lobby from 4-6. I would definitely stay there again, but I would pack an air freshener. After the hotel is renovated, it will be absolutely wonderful.

Pros: towels and pillows THATS ALL!!!
Cons: to many to list
Location: horrible view but close to casino or shops on canal
I was very disappointed and not happy with my stay at this Hilton. We were not greeted which i found disrespectful for this establishment. once we got checked in and made it up to our room we noticed a few things but mainly our tub was supposed to be jetted as stated on Expedia. This was the reason we chose this particular hotel!!! We went to the front desk to see why and we showed the add/info showing what was stated that was supposed to be in the room. the clerk said he couldn't do anything to fix this room. i said well can i speak to your manager or the supervisor seeing how we were not responsible for this mistake. he came back said the supervisor would not come out to talk to us in person that this was a third party problem contact Expedia. I found that not only disrespectful but highly unprofessional, but chose to just leave and return to the room knowing that nothing was going to be solved and didn't want to spend the rest of our stay to be negative! but unfortunately for the next 3 hours or so the emergency alarm kept going off and asking everyone to please leave the building followed up withing 5 to 10 mins of sorry they didn't know why this was going on it was a false alarm! VERY VERY ANNOYING. the pool is in the basement you have to go threw lobby and no robes were provided, the view horrible and the list goes on ,so we left until late at night hoping when we returned it would be over(alarms). I have to say overall we had a horrible stay with this Hilton...

Close enough to the FQ

Nice classic hotel. Can catch trolley right outside the door. Pleasant service. Find parking blocks away somewhere else for $10-15/night, instead of $40/n. Is it worth $180 night? Probably not, since most of the day you spend outdoors. Next time, I will downgrade.

Great location and hotel. Parking is pricey but just use a public garage.
