Our stay at the Hampton was wonderful in every way. Location was great, lots of beautiful homes in a quiet, safe part of New Orleans. The property was very secure; restricted access to elevators and building. Streetcar stops right outside the hotel for travel to the French Quarter. Great restaurants within walking distance in the lovely Garden District.

This hotel was very nice. Everything appeared to still be brand new. The staff was very courteous and even went and found extra hot chocolate packets when I commented to my daugther that they were out. Very clean hotel and would definitely recommend again. It is about 15 miles away from NOLA though and you have to drive on the busy section of I-10/90 so if you were going multiple times it wouldn't be wise to stay this far out.

We stayed at the Hampton Inn across from the Convention Center and it is a great location. Do visit the French Quarter but save some time and check out all the interesting restaurants and sites in the Warehouse District. I would stay in this hotel again without question as the accommodations and staff are first class.
I mentioned to the front desk that the blinds had fallen down on the 8th floor by the elevator. Within 10 minutes, the maintenance staff were fixing the problem.

This was our first time in NOLA so we were going blindly and cautiously on reviews and suggestions. We picked Homewood Inn because there was not a lot of availability elsewhere. We were absolutely shocked at how nice and accommodating the staff was. The room was huge! Clean. Really pretty views of the city. The location couldn't have been better. It was pretty cold so we opted to take a taxi pretty frequently and it was never more than $7 to get downtown. We walked to the stadium no problems and if it was nicer we could have walked everywhere. The breakfast buffet was awesome and we happened to be there on a weeknight and the dinner buffet was really good too. The housekeeping was great. Super helpful and not annoying. The pool was nice. We will totally stay here again next time we visit. Aside from the bed not being as comfy as ours, I have nothing negative to say at all! Thanks!
