Wasn't happy with my stay

Posted Apr 27, 2015
The room was too expensive to not have a refrigerator or microwave. The parking was not good at all. The only option you have is valet and for a two nights stay it cost me 78 dollars to park. I should not have to pay to park at a hotel where I'm staying. Breakfast was not included either. I left my cell phone and it took two days for someone to contact me concerning this issue. I left over 5 msgs before my call was returned.

Thank you for choosing the Chateau LeMoyne for your travel needs! Parking in the French Quarter is very limited and at a premium because when the French Quarter was established 300 years ago, the mode of transportation was horse and buggy. All hotels in the French Quarter charge a fee for parking. No hotels in the French Quarter provide Shuttle Service. The Chateau LeMoyne has a gated Lot No self-parking allowed. If a motorcycle, you are allowed to park yourself. The charge for a motorcycle is for the space $34.95 plus taxes per night. If more than 1 motorcycle, the number of motorcycles that fit in one parking space. We have valet parking only. The rate is $34.95 plus taxes per night with in/out privileges. Oversize cars, trucks and vans the rate is $39.95. Hotels in the French Quarter do not have shuttles; the airport does have a shuttle called “Airport Shuttle” which can be picked up at baggage claim area at the airport. The cost is $20.00 per person each way, or $38.00 per person round trip. The other option is a taxi which you can also pick up at baggage claim. The taxi fee is $33.00 flat for one or two persons, with a $14.00 fee for any additional persons. Taxi from hotel to cruise ships is $7.00 per person. Taxi from hotel to Amtrak station $10.00 per person

Nice hotel close to Bourbon Street

The staff was very pleasant and helped us with any and all questions. We went to breakfast restaurant inside the hotel and the food was really good.

Beautiful Hotel

Posted Apr 23, 2015
Pros: Staff was great. Helped with all questions we had.
Cons: Nothing was all great
Location: Was a short walk to most places. Bourbon St was a block away and the Riverwalk outlet shops was a short stroll away also
My partner and I found this hotel to be beautiful. The hotel staff were very helpful. The location was fantastic just one block from Bourbon Street. The room was immaculate and spacious

Great location!

Posted Apr 22, 2015
The hotel was in a great location. It was down the street from the Hotel Montelone, streetcars on Canal St, Bourbon and Royal Street. The French Quarter was very walkable. The hotel is a little rundown which is expected in New Orleans, so with that in mind the hotel still looked great. When I encountered with the staff, they were helpful and friendly. The pool area and views were beautiful. I would definitely recommend this place or staff here again on future visits.

Great location in the Vieux Carre. Good restaurant

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Location is paramount. And helpful staff augments the experience
Cons: Less air conditioning in the hallways. Way too cold in contrast to the outdoor steamy temps
Location: Very little can beat a day strolling Bourbon Street and its environs
This is a Holiday Inn property with none of the "budget" attributes of its parent. A classic older building with all the modern amenities.

Needs Updating

Posted Apr 10, 2015
Pros: The staff.
Cons: See the above comments.
Location: A block off Bourbon street.
The hotel staff is great. However the hotel itself needs serious updating. The rooms have very little amanities other than an iorning board, iron and a hair dryer. No microwave or refrigerator though the room has sufficient room for both. The lobby is barren. The lobby furniture is old and sticky. The hotel is simply OK. Nothing great other than the staff.
