“Very nice over night stay”

The hotel was very nice. I had read some low reviews of the hotel but booked anyway and was VERY HAPPY with my stay over night.

I frequently stay here when visiting my son in Slidell and it is very comfortable.

“Visiting for a wedding”

The Holiday Inn was fine and the staff, including the desk clerk and the waitress were exceptional. I appreciate hard work and enthusiasm and the staff exhibited both. Room was adequate and that's all you expect at these rates in a small town. Only complaint was the restaurant, not the service, the service was outstanding, but the restaurant is small and you are basically sitting in the bar with one overworked (but sweet and very hard working) waitress. So the restaurant is really a bar for the locals to watch football. So don't eat there unless it is empty and the TVs are off.

“Outstanding Experience!”

Every single staff member greeted us upon our arrival. During check-in I mentioned that we were just passing through town on our way to the funeral of a family member. Within 15 minutes, a hand written sympathy card, signed by all the staff members was delivered to our room! Took the grandson's swimming at the indoor pool. The temperature of the pool room and the pool itself was very cold. We mentioned it to the staff and within minutes, they happily responded! Complimentary, made-to-order breakfast was outstanding as was the service. Overall, and outstanding stay. Highly recommend this facility!

“Clean, convienent and excellent customer service”

We really enjoyed everything about the hotel! The rooms were clean. The towels were nice and thick..... always nice :) The staff was helpful. Breakfast was great and the waitstaff was very friendly and quick in the morning.

“Very pleased”

We were very pleased with the quality of the room and will now stay there every time we go to Slidell to visit the kids/grandkids. Especially enjoyed the jacuzzi tub!! Beware smokers - altho' smoking rooms are shown as available, the hotel no longer allows it and you have to sign a statement that you will not do so or pay a large penalty.

“2nd Visit”

Really like this hotel, although I wish the room rate was a bit less. Only complaint is that we were in a room next to some kind of equipment (air conditioning or perhaps laundry), and the noise was a bit irritating.

“Slidell Mistake”

For the price the room was disappointing. Musty smell, mold in bathroom and wife certainly not impressed. We will look somewhere else next time.

The pool wasn't heated. The waitress in the cafe forgot about our order. The air conditoner was on in the room where the pool was it was freezing in there. The air conditoner in the room wouldn't work right. The staff didn't know how to work the the heater to the pool. The toilet dripped constantly.
