Nice hotel fairly close to the airport
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Pros: Manager was very approachable and clearly wanted us to have a good experience.
Cons: More comfortable sofa beds.
Location: We only stayed the night we arrived and the night before we left, since we traveled to Mississippi for the week. So not sure of what there is to do.
The sofa bed was not very comfortable, but the other beds were great. Suite was very spacious. There was a problem with the air conditioning (stuck "on") and we got very cold our first night, but the manager was very apologetic, and reduced our rate the next night. Nice facility. Nice staff. Breakfast was not included, but available on site.

Good if you spend most of your time in NOLA

For a one night stay, where one is out most of the time, this is an OK hotel. The hotel is rather stinky in the corridors but not in rooms and looks and feels under maintained.

Nice staff, but hotel feels old and rundown
Posted Jan 19, 2013
The staff were very helpful and nice, but the hotel is really rundown and didn't feel as clean as I would have liked. The room service food wasn't very good, my grits were cold, hard and smelled funny.

Enjoyed our stay!

Pros: Bed quality
Cons: Restaurant quality
Location: Visit French Quarter in about 20 min by taxi.
Their bed was very comfortable, in fact it was much better than the beds at all the hotels we had stayed in the past 10 years!! We want to know where they got it from. :) Their staffs at the front desk were all very friendly and made us feel welcomed. It is a nice place to stay for a very reasonable pricing. The restaurant in the hotel is ok if you can't go anywhere else, but if you can, you might want to try somewhere else outside of the hotel. We recommend this hotel for a good night sleep.

Just OK Hotel
Posted Jan 14, 2013
Pros: free internet
Cons: smell
Location: good
Staff were nice, but hotel has smell of an old hotel. I requested room with one bed and they only had room with two beds to give me when I arrived there. Free internet access in rooms was nice. I selected "no" for recommendation because I normally stay at Marriott. If cost is an issue, this may be a good option for you

Nice hotel in Metairie

Nice hotel, comfortable beds, refrigerator in room (not stocked free for left overs or water etc). Clean and modern hotel due to recent remodel, not far from downtown close enough to the airport. My hubby and I stayed one night only but wouldn't mind staying again for all our New Orleans trips

Pros: easy access to exit off of interstate
Cons: smell & condition of bathroom
Location: easy to access Causeway Blvd from Hotel in NOLA
smell when you walked off elevator on 4th floor was awful. Plaster falling off window in bathroom. Area over tub had water damage. We were put the last room down the hall. Only saw 2 more rooms being used down our wing. We were next to the ice machine room which dumped ice out on floor all night long. Saturday AM at 7:30 someone's boom box in care was blaring. (Room ok - bath needs work) RM 424. Complete non-smoking hotel which was great!! But people smoking immediately outside front and back doors - had to walk thru their 2nd hand smoke to get to parking lot. Sorry but put the designated smoking areas somewhere besides out doors.
