Not satisified!

Posted Mar 18, 2015
Pros: The look of the hotel was decent.
Cons: It could of been cleaner. Even the linen was not that great. I was there over noight so, that's why it was ok
Location: I went to Burban street. I asked for directions and hoped in a cab
I was charged $ 30.00 dollors on my account and I didn't use anything. There was a huge spider in y bathroom. They gave me complimentary breakfast but, I paid for if I was charged $30.00.

I sincerely apologize you left dissatisfied. $30 per day is authorized for incidentals for all reservations, this amount will fall back into your account 3-5 business days after departure depending on your bank. A debit card does actually hold the funds, however, it is not a charge. Signs at the front desk explain this, I'm sorry for any misunderstanding.

Ligger lite offside

Posted Mar 14, 2015

Will Never stay here again

Rooms small. The bathroom even smaller. The house keepers were very friendly as well as a lady at front desk. However this place is WAY WAY over priced.

コストパフォーマンスに優れた宿

Posted Mar 9, 2015

Convenient and friendly

Posted Jan 26, 2015
Pros: Location and access to key required sites at a reasonable price.
Cons: Confidence in the "extras" booking process. Quieter air conditioning!
The visit was for a mix of conference attendance locally and visiting the city. Walking to the French quarter was easy but I would not want to do it at night. The hotel restaurant was good but relatively limited, there are a few venues close by but for a decent range, travelling to the French quarter is necessary. A baby cot was requested as part of the booking and then by direct telephone but "could not be guaranteed" because the booking was done "through a third party vendor" and was not provided. We managed because our daughter was not yet crawling, but it could have been an issue. The hotel management should perhaps look at this policy; I will be mentioning it in my booking agent feedback. For international travellers, convenience and assurance are fairly important! The facilities were of a good quality generally but the air conditioning was very noisy. Fortunately it was not essential for comfort in January! I anticipate a return to NOLA in 2 years time and would certainly consider this hotel again.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel! I sincerely apologize for your disappointment with the rollaway policy. It's actually the same for all guests no matter how they book; rollaways can be requested and we'll note it on the reservation. However, availability is on a first come first served basis to be fair. It is a very rare occasion that we run out if this gives you peace of mind for future travels. Please do return, we greatly value your business and look forward to serving you again!

Close proximity to French Quarter and Canal Street

Posted Jan 7, 2015
Pros: It was both a few blocks from the French Quarter and a few blocks from the Mercedez Benz Stadium where Alabama and Ohio played the Sugar Bowl.
Cons: The quality of the room towels. A few days they looked like they hadn't been washed or were stored on dirty shelves and not checked.
Location: Walgreens down the corner. Canal street shops a few blocks over.
Our hotel stay was good. The only gripe I have is the outrageous parking charges for guests of the hotel. I can understand charging outside parkers $29 dollars to park, but, I believe hotel paying guests should be given a discount on this fee. We're already paying the hotel fee per night, which isn't cheap, so why not give a little extra to your paying customers.

Thank you for overlooking this disappointment and recognizing your overall great stay! Unfortunately, parking is a commodity in the downtown area and our fee is comparable or less than the competition surrounding our locale. In addition, we offer unlimited access to the garage and guest parking is valid until 5pm the day of departure. I hope this cost of this amenity does not deter you from returning, we greatly value your business.

Perfect for four friends

Posted Jan 4, 2015
I loved the second sink outside the bathroom. Room was comfy. Shower had a clog and allowed water to fill as showering. Slow on receiving towels. Room right next to elevators. Nice view of some of the city. Free parking close by instead of hotel parking. Less than a mile walk to canal and bourbon. Taxi service can be steep during major events.

Great stay, front desk needs some training

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Front desk training
Location: About a 15 minute walk to the French Quarter, Jackson Square and the casino Canal street is 5 minutes away
The hotel was awesome. Rooms were very clean, the maid staff were very good at maintains our rooms and very friendly. The hotel was located within walking distance of the French Quarter and all the amazing restaurants. All in all we loved our stay. The imply 2 issues we had were the constant problems with our room key which was always resolved, but the biggest issue was the fact that we were charged $29 a day for parking when the young man at the front desk told us that it would be only $29 for the whole stay. We ended up with with an extra $116 charge at the end of our stay just for our parking and the staff did not resolve the problem even when we explained what happened. Be sure to review and double check the policy on parking . Other thn that the hotel is a great stay.

Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel, we greatly appreciate the kind comments! To clarify, there is a $29 daily parking fee. This includes a permit and key to our covered garage, unlimited access, and parking until 5pm on your day of departure. I sincerely apologize for any confusion on this amenity and hope this misunderstanding does not deter you from returning.
