“Best pillows ever!”

“Great for families with little kids”

We were pretty impressed with this hotel. The staff (both at the front desk and at breakfast) were very friendly and helpful. We didn't have good luck with the cleaning staff, as they came at odd times despite suggestions to come at more "typical" times (ie, they didn't come in the morning like at most hotels, but wanted to come in the late afternoon). The rooms aren't fancy, and we paid for a crib rental from a company in the area so we didn't have to fight anyone for a crib or playpen (the hotel couldn't guarantee it would be available). The breakfast is amazing, the dinners they offer (free!) on Mon-Thurs are good and include free wine and beer on tap. The pool is good, workout room is good. Overall a good value and I'd stay here again with small children...as long as I could again rent a crib.

“I will only use HILTON HOMEWOOD SUITES from now on!!!”

The breakfast was phenomenal and had more options than I could count, the room was wonderful with a cute little kitchen, dining table, living area, sofa, lounge and even a balcony overlooking the city! The bedroom came with 2 QUEEN beds and the bathroom had a large sink area, closet with a full body mirror and separate bathing area. This was perfect for two girls who wanted to shop, dress cute, and take long showers without having to fight for mirror or dressing space! I loved our stay and only wouldve changed one thing! i wish we wouldve stayed longer so we could have used the indoor pool, hot tub, and exercise facilities! Great job Hilton Homewood Suites!!!

“Who Dat?”

The hotel was located walking distance from the Superdome, Bourbon Street, and a casino. There are lots of small restaurants and bars in the area.

Bourbon Street is a must.

“Halloween in NOLA”

Spent 5 nights on family vacation the week before Halloween. The hotel is nice with many of the amenities of home. Had a clean, comfortable double bed room on the third floor. Short walking distance to Canal Street but longer to points of interest in French Quarter. Some may find it long if you are not use to walking. Just a few minor things need improvement. Their idea of changing sheets is moving them from one bed to the other. I think they thought we would not notice but there was a hole in one fitted sheet that miraculously appeared on the other bed. The pool had sediment on the bottom from street dust the came in from the open windows. The eggs at breakfast were a bit overcooked which made them quite hard and inedible. Would stay again but only for a shorter trip.

Area recommendations

If you are travelling with small children definitely get the Audobon Experience ticket to zoo, IMAX, aquarium, and insectarium.

“Perfect for family”

Prime location! Walking distance to everything. Was perfect for my family. The beds are super comfy! Parking is reasonable in comparison to other hotels and I felt safe.

Business district is perfect! In the middle of everything with none of the noise.

Do a 30min tour on a carriage ride...it was fun and worth it!
