“Ideal location”

This hotel was very comfortable and in an excellent location in the French Quarter. We had a well appointed double room with our daughter and 3 sets of towels were provided. The outside courtyard was pretty and a quiet haven to realx with a drink. Staff were friendly and helpful. The only slight disappointment was the breakfast however the central location meant that there were plenty eating places nearby. I would definately stay here again.

“Definitely would recommend this hotel”

Loved the hotel, especially it's location which was near to everything. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Comfortable beds, good breakfasts which we enjoyed while sitting in the hotel's sunlit courtyard. If ever I go to New Orleans again, I would not hesitate to stay here.

“Wonderful hotel.”

The hotel is in a very convenient location to Bourbon Street and many other attractions. The staff were exceptional. They were pleasant, kind, helpful, and welcoming. The rooms were great. It was our first time in New Orleans and our location was perfect for exploring the city. I would definitely stay here again.

“Great location in French quarters.”

Easy walking to all parts of the French quarters, the Mississippi, and the street cars. We got lots of great history from our driver of the horse carriage tour. The swamp tour was definitely worth it. The food was great. There wasn't as much jazz or zydeco music as I expected.

“Just redone and super”

We recently visited New Orleans for a week, and noted this hotel in the French Quarter was just re-opened in Nov 2010. Continental breakfast included, done up very smartly. Rooms spic and span, beds very comfortable, and heating/cooling systems quiet and responsive. Salt water bathing pool in the courtyard surrounded by ancient brick swank. Visited by young and old, families. Located near but not on Bourbon Street. Staff helpful. Exercise room great. Staff very helpful especially Pierre. Try it you will like it.

“Will be on my top ten list for the next visit to New Orleans!”

Used to be the Hotel St. Marie Antoinette which was absolutely horrid (stayed there two times). Now a beautifully appointed hotel, completely renovated. Great location in the French Quarter. I will definitely look to stay here when I return to the Big Easy in the fall.

“Just Perfect”

Whats not to like? The hotel was recently renovated and is a very nice boutique hotel. Rooms are small and very comfortablebut you are in NOLA so who cares. Location couldn't have been better as it is less than a block to Bourbon Street but not noisy..We received two free drink vouchers for the Bar upon check in. Continental Breakfast is fine and better than most. Staff was very cheery and helpful.

“Everything I could have hoped for”

The location was great, right off Bourbon St., but quiet. It was clean, modern and well maintained. We had the Superior-King room which was a perfect size. The beds were very comfortable. The courtyard with the heated pool was very relaxing. If I had one complaint it would be lack of towels by the pool. There is only 1, 2 prong hook in bathroom for a towel so bringing your own wet towel back to the room was messy. Music was playing softly out in the courtyard all night. I commented on what a wonderful selection of music it was and found out it was the bartender's own mix. The bartender was also great - very professional and friendly. If you have your own car like we did, valet parking was very convenient with the garage right across the street. We were there with 2 other couples on a well deserved vacation - I got compliments all around for the good choice of hotel.

“It was what I expected”

It was our first time to NOLA..Pierre was so kind to offer the garden view..Thank you. Great city and people so friendly! The breakfast was great more than just a continental breakfast and yummy! Love that bacon, Just a recommendation for the bathroom, if you could install a shower curtain that would be better than having to put so many towels on floor .

“A Perfect Spot for a Getaway”

The hotel room was exactly as described on the internet. Renovations were just finishing off, which we were aware of, and a continental breakfast was included, which was not offered when we originally booked so a pleasant surprise. Pierre at the front desk was extremely helpful. The hotel was just off Bourbon Street and a convenient walk to everything in the French Quarter. The room was clean and the bathroom shower was great. I would recommend that people who book a 3 star hotel not write reviews that criticize it as if it should have the service of a 5 star. This hotel is a great for people who would use it for a trip where you plan on spending your free time exploring the city not sitting in your room.
