Boutique hotel in great locationPosted Apr 21, 2015
Pros: Location Decor Service Breakfast (included in price)
Location: In the heart of the French quarter. Short stroll to all main attractions. Close to Bourbon street but sheltered from the noise.
Loved our three night stay at this gem of a hotel just off Bourbon street. Contemporary decor matched with comfort . Staff were well informed and very helpful (including supplying umbrellas on rainy days).

Very nice- near everythingPosted Apr 20, 2015
Very nice Hotel near everything and yet far enough away from all night noise! Breakfast was great, and staff were extremely gracious. Definitely recommend for the Nola experience if you want to be close to it all but maintain your sanity from bourbon street party!

Awesome staff & perfect locationPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Wonderful staff, perfect location, great escape from craziness of Bourbon Street yet close enough to enjoy all the French Quarter energy.
Cons: Housekeeping overdid a tad...we hung towels for re-use, but they were replaced each day. A ziplock travel bag left out to dry got tossed. All minor!!
Location: Bourbon St...Preservation Hall...Jackson Square...St. Charles streetcar...Cafe Du Monde...all the main sights and more are steps away.
The staff at Le Marais couldn't have been friendlier and any more accommodating. I'd go back again just to see their friendly faces! The location is absolutely the best -- just steps away from Bourbon and Royal Streets, and a quick walk to Cafe DuMonde and St. Charles streetcar. Despite being so central, the hotel was incredibly quiet and serene -- especially the beautiful courtyard. Unfortunately, it was raining during the periods of time while we were at the hotel so we didn't get a chance to enjoy it, but the times we did were so relaxing. (The bar staff makes fantastic drinks too.) Next time I'm in NOLA, we will stay at Le Marais again, without a doubt.

Awesome hotel in the middle of everything! Not a lot of noise which was great at night. Offered free breakfast in the morning and complimentary drinks. Can't wait to come back

Beautiful hotelPosted Apr 19, 2015
Pros: Everything. And I loved how close it was to the Bourbon street, and everywhere else.
Love the people, from hotel managers, to the wait staff and maids, and the maintenance man.

Nice hotel for a short stayPosted Apr 14, 2015
Pros: Pleasant staff, good location, nice pool area
Cons: Cramped bathroom and closets No food at bar
Location: One block to Bourbon, one block to Royal. EVERYTHING is near by!
Le Marais is centrally located near all of the action in the Quarter but, because it's on a side-street, surprisingly quiet. The public rooms - lobby, bar, pool - are stylish. We would have appreciated a snack or two at the bar but, this being New Orleans, food is always just around the corner. And the included breakfast (hot and cold choices) was pleasant, although it did not vary during our 4 day stay. The staff is friendly and accommodating. Our room was small but adequate. This is a hotel to stay in for a few days; more than that would require more amenities. But for a few days, it is a nice choice.

Good place to stay in New OrleansPosted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: They handled questions, check in etcetera quickly and easily.
Cons: Their card keys constantly stopped working, which got old constantly having them to ask to reissue a new one.
Location: Bourbon Street, French Quarter
We had a 5 days stay and really enjoyed the hotel breakfasts, especially the teenagers who eat a lot!

Half block off Bourban street, close enough, quietPosted Apr 12, 2015
Pros: Proximity to points of interest, comfortable room, courteous helpful staff.
Location: In the heart of the French Quarter, speaks for itself.
Friendly, courteous staff. Smooth check in that included two free drinks. If Olga is behind the bar try the Sazerac cocktail, it's awesome and a great way to start things off. I can't complain about a single staff member, they were quick to offer up tips or advice but didn't intrude if you were relaxing in the lobby or courtyard.
