Great hotel convenient to sites

Posted Jul 31, 2015
Pros: everything
Location: walking distance to all the major sites
Hotel was surprise oasis convenient to Bourbon Street but without the noise.. clean and comfortable - the staff was fantastic - very helpful and courteous - they scheduled our tours, arranged for cabs and was there for any questions we had. Great breakfast buffet on the weekend allowed us to start site seeing without having to find place to eat first.

Nice quiet hotel close to everything

Posted Jul 24, 2015
Pros: It is in the middle of the french quarter.
Location: In the middle of the French Quarter near everything.
Nice quiet hotel close to everything we wanted to do. Nice breakfast complementary . Only draw back was the valet parking. But it wasn't the hotel's fault. There was construction going on and made things a little difficult to get to.

A Fantastic Hotel!!

Posted Jul 21, 2015
Location: Restaurants! Museums! Historical tours!
My daughter and I spent 9 fantastic nights at this hotel. Although smaller than its sister properties it provided a 'cozy' experience from the moment we arrived! It is located just off Bourban Street and within walking distance to many of the restaurants, museums and attractions in the French Quarter. The staff went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed! The room was very clean and the pool court yard was our oasis! A continental breakfast was included...fantastic!!! Finally, the staff were extremely friendly. Many have become our friends. We loved this hotel so much that my daughter is planning another trip to NOLA next year and will definitely stay at Le Marais!! Thank you for making our vacation memorable!!!'

Manning Passing Camp - Mom's Weekend

Posted Jul 14, 2015
Pros: The staff, location, the quiet/cool atmosphere
Cons: nothing - maybe provide Bliss products in the room :-)
Location: Excellent location - near the music of Bourbon, yet right around the corner from the shops of Royal. Great location for fun!
After we dropped our son at the Manning Passing Camp, our destination was the Hotel Le Marais. We stayed here in February and loved it. You cannot beat the location. Near great food, great music (LOVE MY FRITZEL'S!) and still a nice quiet respite. The folks at the front desk were top notch, bartender was splendid with great suggestions. We love this place and WILL be back. We had a view of the courtyard and will figure out how to book a balcony room next time. All in all, a great stay!

6 night stay at Le Marais

Posted Jul 8, 2015
Location: Oceana restaurant is practically next door, Bourbon street is just steps away.
Great location in the French Quarter for our week in NOLA. Hotel is clean, comfy, quite modern reception and bar area. Would have preferred a separate breakfast area rather than the bar, some of the small tables were awkward to eat from with the armchairs, or there was the bar stools. Staff were friendly and informative. It would have been good if there was a room service /food delivery option for the first night when we were too exhausted to try and fight through the crowds in the french quarter to find a restaurant. The bathroom was clean and we loved the shower, but the fan is not very efficient. It was great to come in from a day sightseeing to have a dip in the pool or sit with a drink in the courtyard. i was impressed that we didn't hear the noise from Bourbon Street but we did have a courtyard facing room on the 6th floor. Would definitely recommend Le Marais to other travellers.

Best Hotel for NOLA

Posted Jul 4, 2015
Best location! Rooms are quiet and çomfy bed, clean. Olga from Vive mixed good drinks. Colette from kitchen went above and beyond her duty. Cooked us some homemade gumbo, which is to die for! We'll go back here for sure! 2 thumbs up
