week-end wedding
Posted Jan 8, 2013
Pros: convenient and clean
Cons: QC for essential items in the bathroom
Location: was close to the wedding site and a good local's breakfast spot
My mom and I checked in on Saturday afternoon around 2:30 before the rush. My daughter and friend checked in around 4. Aside from 1) no toilet paper in my bathroom and 2) no soap in my daughter's the hotel was very comfortable. The parrot answers whistles.

Nice hotel bar and lobby.
Posted Jan 27, 2013
The hotel had very nice staff and keeps its rooms clean. Our room was a little small (which we expected given the online description) and there were no curtains or dark blinds in the room. Normally that is fine but a personal preference is to sleep in on vacation, which was difficult with the blaring Louisiana sun on my face early in the morning.

Good hotel and location...
Posted Jan 23, 2013
Pros: Enjoy the location...
Cons: No HVAC vent in the bathroom is slightly uncomfortable.
The hotel is fine, I enjoy the location...it is a short walk to the Convention Center and a short walk or cab ride to the French Quarter. The hotel is a little "quirky" for lack of a better term but overall it is good. I have stayed there both times I have been to N.O. and would probably stay again. Rates are good and I like the location so I would recommend it to others.

Fine for a cheap and reasonable alternative
Posted Jan 10, 2013
Overall the experience is good, I was not staying the best room of all, possibly the cheapest... therefore will not try to rate the experience solely on that (although the room was very small, with a window on a weird spot and small). The one thing that was disappointing was finding a fridge empty of water and an open old Tropicana OJ bottle, left over from another guest I guess. I brought this to the attention of the concierge who quickly sent someone upstairs to take care of it. That night, I checked, there was water in the fridge, but the gross half drunk bottle of OJ that I complained about was still there. Lame. Otherwise, the bar downstairs is AMAZING, you can eat excellent dishes, its a fantastic atmosphere and the cocktails are superb.

Nice Stay
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Pros: Great character and lovely style.
The hotel was very nice and interesting. The room was charming and clean and the staff was very accommodating. Two small issues: the toilet ran all night and the thermostat didn't get the room as cold as we would have liked, but it was still a nice stay. The restaurant was terrific.

Excellent hotel just outside French Quarter
Posted Jan 6, 2013
Excellent location with streetcar to the French Quarter and Garden District just outside the door. Staff are really friendly. Decor is quirky. The bed is soooooo comfortable and the location is quiet. Breakfast is reasonably priced and the coffee is good. What more could you want?

Funky and fine for us...
Posted Jan 2, 2013
Pros: Location, small size, friendly staff, clean
Location: Great for streetcar or car travel around the city. Easy to find.
Great location, CBD/Warehouse is between Garden District and the French Quarter. It is right on Lee Circle. The staff was very welcoming and willing to help. All requests were courteously fulfilled. It's a "small" funky boutique hotel and did seem a little overwhelmed if several guests needed help at the same time. We did not find that an issue. The room was comfortable and met our needs. And it may be the only hotel that has a mascot-a parrot named "Scarlett"....

Cloud beds

Pros: beds
Cons: none
Location: great
We had a great experience at this hotel. The staff was very nice, and I really enjoyed being greeted by the hotel's parrot, Scarlett. The beds!!!! Oh my goodness, they were so comfortable it feels like ur laying on a cloud. If your looking for a nice quiet place to stay that's clean and comfortable, this is for you. Less than a mile walk to all the tourist sites! great location.
