Convenient and comfortable.

We enjoyed our two day stay. All the staff were professional and personable. The hotel was convenient, easy to locate, and had character. Our room was in good condition with some very minor maintenance issues that did not impact us during our stay. Bottom line, we would stay here again which is important as there are many hotels from which to choose in the French Quarter.

Nice hotel... Close to everything!

Posted Jul 23, 2015
Hotel Provincial Is an older hotel, but it is still very nice. The room was small, but it served its purpose for the two nights I was there. It was quaint and the hotel staff was very friendly. The air conditioner kept the room nice and cold which was wonderful since it was so hot outside! The location is awesome! It was nice being so close to everything in the French Quarter. The valet parking at the hotel was nice and convenient! I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you would like a French Quarter feel!!!

Excellent location, beautiful establishment

This hotel is exactly what we were looking for -It put us in the middle of the French Quarter, and was as authentic and unique as the area. The pool and courtyard were beautiful, and the French doors to our room were so cool! The room was lovely, and the entire staff was friendly, helpful, and professional!

Very nice historical hotel close to the sights

Posted Jul 17, 2015
Hotel Provincial was a very nice place to stay for a visit to New Orleans. It was quiet but just a few blocks from Jackson Square, the heart of the French Quarter. Great restaurants close by and walking distance to almost everything in the Quarter. The room was clean with antique furniture and a cool balcony opening to the street. The pools were nice with a cool courtyard to relax in. The staff was nice and helpful. A great place to stay, especially if you want a less touristy place to stay.

Nice period hotel

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Location, pool, quite, courtyard, fountain
Cons: Friendliness of desk staff
Desk staff was professional but not over friendly or courteous upon check in. Bell-person was very friendly and helpful. Nice location walking distance to everything, but out of the way so it was quite. Room was small for four adults. One piece of furniture was broken. Nice pool.

Charming place near Jackson square

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Charming room and courteous staff.
Cons: FREE parking!!
Location: Lots of shops and restaurants around, but you will pay more in this area to eat than any other.
The staff was helpful and we were able to upgrade our room with minimal cost. July isn't their busy season so no surprise. The bathroom, beds and room in general were clean and well maintained. The only thing I'm not sure about is we got lots of bug bites on our legs, but didn't see anything around. They could have been from outside walking around so bring your bug spray!!
