Great location in the French Quarters

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: The location of this hotel was great.
Cons: The carpet in the room was dirty. We did not dare walk around the room with bare feet.
Location: 1/2 block from Bourbon Street. Lots of restarants and bars within minutes.
Hotel was 1/2 block from Bourbon Street. At the time of our stay, there were two different St. Patrick's day parades that came down Bourbon Street. Very nice to enjoy all the festivities but when we wanted to get away from the noise, we were able to just go up to our room.

Nice Hotel, Great Location!

Posted Mar 23, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: One of the ladies in the front desk was very rude and condescending. Parking was $28 per night. $20 per night per person if more than 2 people stay.
Location: Locations was unbelievable, in the center of the French Quarter half a block from bourbon street.
The hotel was vary nice. Greatly located in the French Quarter, half a block away from bourbon street. Did not enjoy the $28 + tax parking fee. They also charged me for having more than 2 people in my room which had two queen beds, $20 per person per night. The staff was very friendly and attentive except for an african american lady in the front desk, she was very rude and condescending; she is the only reason why I didn't give this hotel a 5.

French Quarter

Posted Mar 19, 2015
Pros: The closeness to everything including the business district was a real plus.
Cons: Restaurant servers could be better trained to handle separate checks and special requests. The menu could be realistic also.
Location: Good location, 1/2 block from Bourbon Street and very close to Jackson Square and The Preservation Hall. Plenty of places to eat.
Quiet room just 1/2 block off Bourbon Street. Comfortable but poorly lighted in living/bed area. Nice balcony, nice friendly staff. Restaurant left some things to be desired, but the cafe and bar were very good. Would stay again but would not eat there.

Room needed overhaul

Posted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: The location.
Cons: The carpet was rippled and dirty/sticky. The window painted shut so there was no ventilation or incase of fire. The courtyard need to be spruced up.
Location: Half block from Bourbon Street, near the action, but far enough to be quiet.
The floor we were on had the hall floors all covered with plastic, paint fumes, & pounding. The room we had really needed the complete overhaul, about 2-3 years earlier. They should have closed the floor of this small hotel off to guests. Jenn at the front desk was the only good staff. The rest of the staff was very disappointing. The hotel has a great location and is why we selected it, but we wouldn't have chosen it knowing both the poor condition or the construction.

Great place to rest your head

Posted Mar 4, 2015
Pros: The proximity to restaurants, the pharmacy museum.. essentially it's very central location.
Cons: The hotel check-in staff seemed a little rough around the edges, but it was also the day after Mardi Gras.
Location: It's within a mile walk of anything.
Stayed an extra night in New Orleans after Mardi Gras, and this hotel was a good choice. The bed was comfortable, it's right off Bourbon, and walking distance to everything. My favorite part of the room was probably the balcony.
