We had a group of 10 and had a great time. Lots of space to get together - pool, courtyard, bars, etc. Staff very friendly and helpful!

first visit

Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: Staff and cleanliness
Cons: nothing
Location: perfect
enjoyed food. ate at NOLA, GW Fins, and K-Pauls. Highly recommend them all. Po-boy from Park bakery and Johnnys. Cafe Beignet is better than Cafe DuMonde. Very dirty at night on Bourbon and alot of begging and drunk deranged people, so be careful.

Nice hotel, central to Bourbon Street

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: Close to shops, trams restaurants
Location: Mississippi River, shopping outlets, trolleys,
Great location, close to everything, Bourbon street and markets closed by. The French quarter can be a bit sleezy, so be careful if you are out and about at night

Perfect French Quater location

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Patrick at Batch (lobby bar); he was very helpful and informative AND a good bartender.
Cons: Not sure I liked the shared balcony
Great experience, freindly helpful staff, room service was prompt and courteous, and the lobby cafe was most convenient. The room was clean and spacious (15 foot cielings?), the public areas were neat and well run. The hotel accupies most of the block and has keyed entrances on all sides; Dauphine, Bourbon, Canal and Iberville streets; you don't even have to leave the hotel to find a good restaurant (the Red Fish Grill is just off the lobby) and there are many other fine Brennan family restaurants close by. This was our first trip to New Orleans so we spent most of our time walking the French Quarter; we couldn't have asked for a better location.

Nice hotel. Staff friendly. Center of it all.

Posted Aug 20, 2014
This hotel was great. Staff always greeted us with a smile and was always willing to help. The room was great and huge. Only drawback was the noise. It was near the corner of bourbon and Iberville where the party starts. It didn't bother me since I sleep like a rock but keep in mind when picking

First time in the French Quarter and it was great!

Posted Aug 20, 2014
Pros: Clean, very comfortable and the staff could not have been any nicer.
Cons: Maybe lower the prices a bit for the snack shop for the people staying at the hotel.
Location: This was fantastic the hotel is walking distance to just about everything we wanted to see.
My husband and I went to the French Quarter for the first time and stayed at the Hyatt and it was great! This hotel is centrally located to everything. I would stay there again.

Awesome location, but closed pool

Posted Aug 15, 2014
Overall my stay was out of this world. The hotel is in a prime location and the staff is the friendliest I have ever met. However, the pool was closed for a day because something went wrong which was really unfortunate because this was the main reason I booked this hotel. So that was the worst part of it but the staff is awesome!
