We traced our trip back to New Orleans - a lot has changed but the atmosphere of the city the same. Loved the French Quarter and tours ( reasonable and very informative ) of the city and river cruise. We will be back before another 50 years.

I was pleasantly surprised by the level of service and extra perks from this property which was steps from Bourbon Street and a block away from my favorite neighborhood bar in New Orleans, the Erin Rose. The rooms were elegantly appointed and comfortable and the common areas were clean and well maintained. The small bar in the lobby, Vive, had a friendly and appropriately sarcastic bartender for NOLA. Also got some very nice perks for being an Expedia Elite Gold+ member--other properties have totally missed this, but Le Marais did an excellent job making me feel appreciated. I'm adding them to my list of go-to hotels in New Orleans.

Excellent! Everything was wonderful. The location, the staff, the bar, the pool. The hotel was a quiet getaway from Bourbon street and yet close enough to walk out the front door and enjoying the craziness of Bourbon street.
