“Great Hotel in a convenient location”
Very satisfied with our stay, the staff were very friendly and the hotel was nicely decorated and clean. Would definitely stay there again.
“Excellent location”
Very good value hotel.
“Great spot”
Friendly and helpful staff. Was assigned to a room immediately adjacent to the elevator, which was a bit noisy, and reassigned with no fuss to another room upon request. If there's one thing I'd ask for is a choice of newspapers for guests in the lobby. Not everyone who can afford to stay at the IH reads the Wall Street Journal or cares to know what they have to say.
“good place to stay”
I was traveling alone and felt totally safe and comfortable in this hotel. It was a short walk to Canal street and close to lots of good food. The staff was friendly and helpful, the wireless internet was easy to access, the atmosphere was calm. All around it was a great stay. The only negative was some peeling wall paper in the room.
“Awesome place to stay”
Very convenient. The price is right. Very friendly staff. Comfortable. I will be back.
“Great location and would definitely recommend to others.”
We had a great stay at the International House, it is easily accessible to all neighborhoods and the streetcars. The hotel staff was extremely friendly and helpful!
“Great place, perfect location”
We had a great time, very nice hotel, excelent location, very nice bar, and music in the lobby. We loved it! Expensive breakfast! but a nice place to have breakfast just across the street!
“Very Nice Hotel”
I will stay here when I visit New Orleans. The room was exceptionally clean and I loved it. Then only thing is that I am 5'5" and the shower heads are installed to high my husband had to reach it.
“Great location”
John the door man was very helpful, the location was perfect, the rooms were adequate, the shower water was a drizzle and hard to rinse hair and the walls were moldy. Our friends in another room found someones fake eyelashes stuck to his presumably clean towel. The hotel only served coffee until 9am and we had to go out looking for coffee which was probably the greatest annoyance of all. We were recommended to eat at La Boca and it was fantastic and highly recommend.
“Hidden Gem!”
Great hotel! Was pleasantly surprised... as I was not very familiar with the hotel prior to booking it. Love the front desk staff -- friendly and knowledgeable. Professional, yet also the types of people you'd wanna grab a bite/drink with. Same with the GM, who was both warm and approachable!
