"Perfect location with access to everything!!!"
The staff was beyond friendly and so much fun to interact with every day. The historical information about the hotel and cottages made the stay that much more interesting. The pool area saved our lives on a daily basis by offering a wonderful relaxing cool down and a chance to meet other guests and friends. We loved every second of our stay!!!

"Friendly staff and free parking!"
This affordable jewel is located two blocks from the French Quarter and offers FREE monitored parking. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was quaint, simple and clean. *The neighborhood is somewhat questionable, thus I wouldn't recommend the Empress to families traveling with children.

"Perfect Location and Beautiful Hotel"
This hotel was absolutely beautiful! The lobby and the room were clean. Our stay was fantastic. We could not have had a better location. It was right on the corner of Bourbon Street, but I never heard any of the noise in our room. The only negative thing I could say about our stay was our experience with check out. It took us a couple of hours to get our luggage downstairs (we waited a very long time for the bell hop and eventually gave up) then waited on our car from the valet. There were several conferences and even family reunions happening at the time of our stay, so we tried to be understanding.

"Sabrina was awesome!"
Decided to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday in New Orleans. The staff was so nice and helpful. Sabrina and staff decorated the room and picked up a cake for my daughter. They made it a point of making my daughter feel special during our stay. Thank you so much for helping us celebrate!

"Fantastic stay!"
My friends and I stayed one night to experience the French Quarter, and we all work in the hospitality industry (not this brand). The room was amazing, and the service was second to none! When we asked for help, we received it promptly. The staff knew exactly where to send us to eat and made excellent recommendations. I can't wait to stay here again.

"Will stay there every time we are in New Orleans!"
I booked this place at the absolute min and was a little nervous. We got there at two in the morning and the neighbor hood looked a little sketchy. We got our key and our little map to the room oit of a lock box cause the office was closed. Walked thru a little locked gate up to our room and it was just so neat. Very new orleans. Our room was so cute, very old school charm. A huge king sized bed and a twin xl in the room, fridge and a tv, along with a few dressers and an iron. Great water pressure. Out side down in the court yard was So awesome. Words cannot express how much i loved it. They served a small breakfast in the morning but we wanted to go to a resturant and when i asked the staff they told is to go to waffel house... not quite what we were looking for so we walked around and found the ruby slipper which i deff. Recomend. So if your looking for authentic new orleans stay here, you'll love it!
