Stay was good. Room seemed clean and ready for early check in. However the incedental hold was $250 when the booking said $75. This is an extremely high cost, if even only a hold, and restricted my available cash for my time in the city. The fact this was not clearly stated and was actually falsely represented in the confirmation email was extremely frustrating as well. Other then this major miscommunication, the stay was adequate for the price.

I had to ask for towels and toliet paper during our stay. Had to pay extra just to park at the hotel. Breakfast was only waffles or oatmeal. Could have had a least some meat like bacon or sausage. Only friendly staff was the front desk. Ladies for breakfast and cleaning were rude.

You can smell mold getting off the elevator. The bleach smell in the room was unpleasant we had to prop the door open. Mold was in the corner of the room, the faucet in restroom was stopped up & multiple dirty specs were on the wall which could've been wiped. Lastly my husband and I did get stuck on the elevator. We got off and had to use the stairs the rest of our stay.

Everything was good, but could use a few things; Grab bars in the showers IN EVERY ROOM because the bath tubs are slippery! Free parking - guests should not have to pay for parking. Snacks and drinks are expensive.

The property is in shambles. It was dirty and things were broken left and right. Sowers were dirty and we even had to change our room once as the tub was not cleaned. The extra bed was broken. The seat had stains ( I have pictures) , the extra bed had broken spring connectors. One evening both the elevators stopped working and we had to use stairs. The path to pool was flooded so we cloud not get to the pool. Anyways we tried to check out early so that we could g to a different hotel but they said our reservations were non refundable.

I liked how friendly and attentive the staff were to our needs. I didn't like that a staff member walked into our room when I was in my boxers. Lastly they need an upgrade of three circuit breakers. The Ac kept shutting off and for the last night we had no ac or fresh air in our room.

It would have got a perfect except for the fact you have to pay for parking after you get there. Just put it in the room price or don’t charge parking. Feels like their trying to squeeze every penny out of you they can

Stayed 3 nights total in 2 diff rooms in the course of our week long trip. Our rooms had double beds, all of the matresses sag to the middle real bad. Booked a room to sleep 5 and my youngest ended up sleeping on the floor because everyone rolled to the middle and the front desk could not produce a cot or even an extra pillow for him on any of our 3 nights there. My kids were mad we went back but i could find any vaccant rooms near the airport for our last night in town so we toughed it out. The Subway sign exists but the rest of the building is gone. Mc Donalds locks the doors early at night because of the rif-raf but will let you in if you knock, best to just take the car and use the drive thru instead of walking the block. There was a food truck one night across the street but we did not try it. The Western clothing store next door was real nice. The homeless guy that lives in the bus stop in front of the hotel seemed friendly but he will beg you for cash, or smokes. We left him a cooler with all the beverages, and everything else we could not take on the plane out of there.

We had no clue there was breakfast included also we did not know we had to pay for parking for the time we stayed also we booked a suite and when got there was sent to a room with 2 double beds got that fixed but someone still had to sleep in floor cause room did not accommodate 5 people like advertised and when we asked for blankets for pull out couch they said they did not have key to get them we would have to wait very unorganized and breakfast was good except milk cooler was way over temperature for milk

While LaQinta has done a lot to improve the image, this hotel isn't it. 1. Antiquated and in horrible shape. The tub was repaired on the cheap several times. The AC was noisy beyond belief. 2. The smell of weed was inescapable. We were on the 5th floor. 3. I have never been in such small and odd shaped elevators. You could only put the baggage cart and one person. We booked this hotel for a quick 5 hour nap before heading tot the airport. The nap never happened.

The staff was nice an helpful. The only down side was only one pillow. It was nice to have a hotel away from the city but close enough to travel in everyday. Alot of restaurant options around the hotel. The one pillow thing got me had to use towels under the pillow but it is what it is. Again the staff was friendly and easy to work with. I'd probably stay here again for the price. It was quiet.

The staff was friendly. We stayed from Fri-Mon. The carpet in the ENTIRE room was soaking wet. SOAKING WET, SQUISHY WET. I went to the front desk and told them and they handed me towels. It was wet all 72 hours. The fridge was not plugged in when we got there. The light switch at the front door turned off the entire outlet where everything was plugged into including the fridge, tv, micro, etc. We were walked in on twice even though we had a dnd tag on the door. TV remote didnt work and after an hour of waiting for one we went back to the fe9nt desk only to be told they forgot. The steps at the pool were covered in algae and my kid fell hard on his back tryng to get across them. Our room, when we would step on the towel path would squish up yellow filth out of the carpet. It was so nasty and the room smelled like mildew the entire time. The windows were sealed shut so we couldn't open them. I would think with a required $250 deposit the place would be nice but it was far from it. Never again will we stay there on our SEC weekends in NOLA. Highly disappointed.
