Pros: location ,
Cons: people in the front door at the dock side nobody there when we arrive . we have to wait long time for somebody to help us with the luggage
The picture show something but the reality is other. Rooms are to little. no communications between the personnel . the security guy was in my door and no body notify us. When i call the front desk nobody knew was what that about. the security guy told me "Im reprograming the doors and get inside mom". Well why he was reprograming the kid door when we were still there???

Nice hotel close to French Quarter

Posted Apr 13, 2015
There are pros and cons to staying at the Le Meridien. The staff is very friendly and helpful, the rooms are new and clean. Nice large screen TV. It is also close to the river front and French Quarter which was nice because we could walk to many activities and/or transportation. Things to be aware of: No coffee in rooms or available, vouchers are given and you must go to the bar to get your cup of coffee. Parking in the lot is more than $40. per day. If you want internet in your room you have to pay almost $15.00 for that too! Really in this day of technology??!!! So, all in all nice place if coffee and internet are not important.

Walking distance to the French Quarter

Posted Apr 13, 2015
Pros: Clean rooms, rainfall shower, proximity to activities. Friendly, helpful staff. Awesome breakfast and late night sandwiches. Outside courtyard.
Cons: My only issue is the need to slam the room doors so you could close them. That made for some noise. I would still gladly go back to this hotel.
Location: Walking distance to the casino, Canal St., the French quarter, shopping, the aquarium. 25 minute cab ride to/from the airport.
Hotel was clean comfy and everyone was very friendly and professional. Breakfast was fabulous! I liked the need to use your key card to take the elevator to the guest floors. Nice security feature.

Modern Hotel

The hotel was nice and very modern. The room was also nice, but could have been cleaner. The tables and mirrors were dirty, but overall I was pleased. I would recommend this place.

Great location!

Posted Apr 6, 2015
Pros: Location was perfect, the hotel staff was very friendly and very accommodating. The concierge was very helpful with great recommendations.
Cons: The air conditioning in the room didn't work very well and didn't get the room very cold.
Location: Casino is across the street, walking distance to Jackson Square, walking distance to the craziness of Bourbon St.
The hotel was in a great location and was walking distance to all of the main attractions New Orleans has to offer. The pool area was nice and relaxing, but could use a waiter to order drinks from. The breakfast restaurant was good but a little expensive.

Almost Excellent

Posted Mar 30, 2015
Pros: The staff is the by far the best part of the hotel. The location is IDEAL.
Cons: More attentive to the cleanliness of the hallways.
Location: Warehouse district in front of you. French Quarter behind you. Garden district to the right of you. Couldn't be better.
The staff could not have been nicer or more professional. The free coffee bar in the morning was wonderful. The location is ideal. The only major chink in the armor was the used room service tray that sat on the floor on our hallway for over 24 hours. In general, though, I wouldn't stay anywhere else in NOLA.
