Staff and location were perfect.

Pros: Staff will go out of their way to help and make our stay enjoyable. Also, the pool with the sky line on top of the building was very enjoyable.
Location: Location was great for us older folks. Most restaurants were in walking distance. We did go to Drago's Oyster Bar but needed to take a taxi.
New Orleans was on my bucket list. The hotel was just perfect for us. The staff was so helpful and respectful. Also, the pool on the roof top was so enjoyed by us, especially at night. We want to go back and would not stay anywhere else.

Very nice hotel close to french quarter

Pros: The style of the hotel. The location. The staff. The room. The snack tradition at 10 pm (peanut butter + jelly)
The hotel is very nice and the staff very helpful and professional. What I didn't like was the room close to the elevator. Otherwise it was a very good hotel and can be recommended for a short trip to New Orleans.

Pros: It's a classic old school style with all the antiques but very comfortable. We used the air-conditioning the entire stay since it was hot and humid.
Location: We walked to the French Quarter each day and felt we saw more of New Orleans b/c we walked.
Late check in and they were good about giving us a room near our daughter's room. Very clean and comfortable. The gym upstairs was wonderful for those that felt they needed an extra workout with all the rich food and drink. The roof was fun to sit and enjoy the view of the city. The staff was wonderful and bend over backwards to insure we had a good stay.

Quiet historical hotel adjacent to French Quarter

The hotel is beautiful and the entrance is simply breathtaking. The staff from concierge to maids to bellhop were friendly and most accommodating to any requests. An erroneous room charge was fixed, no questions asked. The pb&j bar with hot cocoa was the best! The hotel is walking distance to the French Quarter, St. Louis cemetery #1, Bourbon St. and also walking distance to the Mississippi River park. Overall great hotel, would stay here again.

Nice hotel in an excellent location.

Le Pavillon is one of the more preposterous hotels in New Orleans. The lobby and hallway decor is over the top and the Poydras St façade is just bizarre. However, the guest rooms are spacious by New Orleans standards and well appointed. And the location is terrific. And it’s not an antiseptic box—it’s a venerable hotel with character. The only hitch we encountered was that the A/C in our room was really loud, so we switched it off at night. The ceiling fan worked great, however, so we never felt hot or stuffy. By contrast, a favorite detail of mine was that the bathroom had a night light!
