Great character in this charming hotel!Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Definitely the PB&J and hot chocolate buffet...it's so amazing I'm surprised other hotels don't do it.
Cons: The rooftop pool was beautiful but the water was a little murky....would be awesome if it was cleaner.
Location: French Quarter is about 4 blocks away...safe walk too which was good.
I was so looking forward to staying at this hotel when I booked it. The PB&J really was awesome...and the hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream...I would go back just for this! However...the hotel itself was beautiful...amazing really! It was also a safe walk to the French Quarter being only a few blocks away.

Beautiful escapePosted Aug 18, 2014
Great hotel. Beautiful. Concierge was very helpful in recommending a restaurant across the street with awesome appetizers and drinks all 1/2 off during happy hour on a Saturday!

Great place! No problems whatsoever. One elevator didn't work. Thats it. And they were working on it. Everything else was perfect!

Our stay at LePavillonPosted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: It is so deluxe and beautiful
Cons: You can't improve perfection.
I love New Orleans and staying at the Pavillon Hotel. It is just superior in every way. Staff is extremely friendly and helpful. We visited so many great restaurants, went to the Audubon Zoo, horse and buggy ride, theatre, Mass at the beautiful Cathedral of St. Louis. WHY does the weather have to be so miserably hot and humid. I 'm used to New England!

Quirky and FunPosted Aug 15, 2014
Pros: It's charm, the staff and the roof top pool!!
Location: Great location, easy walk to the French Quarter.
This hotel is over the top. It's everything i would imagine from a New Orleans hotel from the gold framed portraits in the hallway to the statues by the rooftop pool. The service was great, everyone was helpful and friendly. i wanted to wander around the day i checked out and they let me leave my bags and my car until i was ready to go. and wandering was easy from here! i walked to the Cafe du Mond and the French Market with no trouble. Dinner in the lobby was lovely and PB&J with hot cocoa at 10 was the funniest thing I've ever had as a hotel perk. Stay here. Its great.

Nice hotel, friendly staff, good locationPosted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: Loved the architecture. Beds are incredibly comfortable, plenty of soft pillows and comfy mattress.
Cons: Water pressure in shower was awful. No dresser drawers.
One elevator was broken during our entire stay which is unacceptable considering it's a 9 story hotel so the wait to get up and down was always very long.
