Nice, historic hotel

Posted Apr 13, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, nice architecture, clean rooms,
Location: Walking distance to the French Quarter and Riverfront; easy to find from the airport; close to bus stop for double decker bus and streetcar
Hotel was beautiful, clean, very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Close to the French Quarter, Riverfront and the Convention Center. Excellent location! Each night they delivered delicious peanut butter and jelly cookies to your room, got the room ready each evening with the robes on the bed. Each night there was an opportunity for a late night snack of PB&J.

Cape Codders visit to NOLA

Posted Apr 12, 2014
Pros: Perfect location if you want to be away from the Canal & Boubon St. scene. A nice retreat away from all the action.
Cons: Front desk could have been more informative upon check in regarding the amenities.
Location: Just a few blocks away from Canal St. & Bourbon St.Perfect location!
Great hotel! Housekeeping was spot on! Nice that there was complimentary coffee in the lobby in the AM. The hotel Bar is in rough shape. It needs to be stained and varnished. The bottles haven't been cleaned in I don't know when. The bar is pretty shabby, such a shame really. They probably would have more bar business if they cleaned it up a bit.

Best hotel in NOLA.

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Everything. Absolutely everything. Staff, location, comfort, amenities.
Cons: Nothing I can think of.
Location: Perfect location, within walking distance to CBD, French Quarter, Superdome.
Everything about this hotel makes you feel like you have underpaid. The staff are friendly, the rooms are spacious, the decor is amazing and the bathrooms are elegant. Great towels (not like the thin, small towels in chain hotels) and plenty of them are supplied. The rooftop pool is nice and never seemed to be crowded. Location is fantastic, within walking distance from Canal Street, the Superdome, French Quarter, Aquarium of the Americas and plenty more. Breakfast at Le Pavillon is unmissable, simply the best breakfast in the city. I cannot praise this hotel enough. If you are staying in New Orleans - this is where you want to stay.

Diamond in The Big Easy

Posted Apr 10, 2014
I had the pleasure of staying here during orientation for my Doctorate degree. It was a pleasant stay with wonderful food and a VERY comfortable bed. The room was quaint, a little small and could stand to have some renovations. It was very damp feeling so I turned up the AC which helped a lot. I wouldn't necessarily return for the accommodations, but for the staff and service; however, the PB and J shortbreads and turn-down service was one of favorite aspects of my stay. I felt safe there, considering I did not feel safe most other places in New Orleans with my infant daughter. All-in-all, good job Le Pavillon!
