Very Impressive

Pros: The courteous staff and gorgeous hotel was wonderful!
Cons: The hotel pool had drinks laying around from the day that no one had cleaned. I would recommend having someone pick those up.
Location: The hotel is downtown so it was perfect walking distance to many shops and restaurants, and it was fairly close to the interstate.
My husband and I were greeted at the door when we arrived. We had to check in a few hours earlier than expected, but the hotel staff gladly had everything waiting for us. They had complimentary drink passes and complimentary late night snack available. The room was very nice and comfortable. The bathroom was small, but nice. The hotel staff offered valet. The rooftop pool was breathtaking at night. We took our 2 year old with us. It was a family friendly hotel as well. After staying in other hotels in New Orleans, this has to be my favorite. The exceeded my expectations. I will be staying here again in the future.

Beautiful, Luxurious, Unique hotel.

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Peanut butter and jelly, complimentary hot chocolate, beautiful lobby and rooms, rooftop pool and jacuzzi, very nice restaurant, location
Cons: Shower water pressure, humidity level
Location: In the CBD, near the quarter and quick drive to uptown.
We loved our stay! Yes, it is a bit musty due to the humidity level (our hallway smelled like a swimming pool, and there was constant moisture on the windows, but that would probably happen almost anywhere in Nola. The lobby was beautiful, everything was very well-kept, and the room was huge with very tall ceilings. Comfortable beds, peanut butter and jelly and hot chocolate at night, great rooftop pool/jacuzzi. So much fun. The shower was pretty weak, not good water pressure at all, but the provided toiletries were very nice.

Favorite Part of NOLA

This hotel was amazing. Extremely nice and close to everything. Loved the complimentary PB&J buffet at 10 every night. Amazing bed and intricate details throughout the hotel. Staff was very personable and helpful. Valet parking is available at $39/day, but self-parking in a safe-feeling garage a block away is $20 per day. We will definitely stay here again.

Nice hotel, convenient to many places

Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Location, Rooms, D├ęcor, Staff, Cleanliness
Cons: Hotel food, minibar prices
Location: Canal street(Shopping, Food), Harrah's Casino, Bourbon Street
We arrived at the hotel a few hours before check in time and were promptly given a room. The front desk staff and concierge were both very helpful and informative throughout out stay. Hotel was beautifully decorated and clean. Room service and maid service was excellent and efficient. Doormen were able to get taxis on request and were friendly. The hotel was far enough away from Bourbon street to be quite, yet close enough to be able to enjoy it. Keep in mind most places you visit will require quite a bit of walking, which on very hot days can be quite a chore. We ate at the hotel for breakfast and had the buffet. The food was very average compared to the many available choices in the French Quarter. For a quick breakfast or lunch, the P&G Restaurant across the street was excellent. Overall one of the better places to stay, and would recommend to a friend.

Great character in this charming hotel!

Pros: Definitely the PB&J and hot chocolate buffet...it's so amazing I'm surprised other hotels don't do it.
Cons: The rooftop pool was beautiful but the water was a little murky....would be awesome if it was cleaner.
Location: French Quarter is about 4 blocks away...safe walk too which was good.
I was so looking forward to staying at this hotel when I booked it. The PB&J really was awesome...and the hot chocolate with marshmallows and whipped cream...I would go back just for this! However...the hotel itself was beautiful...amazing really! It was also a safe walk to the French Quarter being only a few blocks away.

Great hotel. Beautiful. Concierge was very helpful in recommending a restaurant across the street with awesome appetizers and drinks all 1/2 off during happy hour on a Saturday!
