“All about location”
I was shocked to find a full kitchen in my room! Was in a perfect location from all the noise in the French Quarter and will stay there again.
“Easy access to the French Quater”
Clean room, a little dated with thin walls. It was a nice place to stay. Hotel staff are great with helping find you the best tours
“Comfy & Cozy”
For the price, it far exceeded my expectations. The hotel staff was very friendly and helpful. They have a security guard on duty which gave me peace of mind. Excellent hotel, staff, location and will be back!
“Will return to this hotel again!”
The rooms are a bit dated but that is the charm of New Orleans. Location was wonderful. Close to Frenchman's street where the best music is. A quiet place in the french quarter without all the rowdiness, yet close enough to walk anywhere in the quarter. The staff is most accomadating and it was nice to have the parking lot on the hotel grounds. It was nice they could book any tours you want to take at the front desk. When I return to NOLA I will definately stay at this hotel again.
“Nice, quiet place to stay in the French Quarter”
We enjoyed staying at Le Richelieu because it is within walking distance to everything in the French Quarter, as well as public transportation, yet there were no noisy bars or clubs in the immediate area. This hotel was also conveniently close to Frenchman's Street, where there are a number of clubs offering great music for no cover charge, but with out the craziness of Bourbon Street. The room was quaintly furnished (each room is different) and very comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful. Free Wifi was easily accessed, but a little on the slow side.
“Surprisingly Dissatisified”
This hotel is in a great location with wonderful staff. We stayed in a suite that hasn’t been updated since the 70's and was defiantly a former smoking room. The halls and rooms were very stuffy and outdated. The bedspread and drapes have been around for decades. For the price, I expected nicer accommodations.
“Great value and location”
This hotel was such a great find. It is far enough away from the craziness of the Quarter but close enough to walk to all the sites and restaurants. The staff was very friendly and the room was very comfortable. The kitchenette was a pleasant surprise. We did not utilize room service or the pool but would have had we stayed longer than a weekend. We would definitely stay here again.
“Excellent Staff”
The entire staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was convieniently located in back. The hotel is a short walk to the "action" in the Quarter. We plan on returning.
“Perfect.”
Great location, excellent value.
“Will stay there again.”
This hotel is nothing fancy, but it is very comfortable and charming. It is close enough to walk to most places that you would want to visit. The only negative was the water pressure for the shower was very low. Complimentary coffee to guests would be a big plus. It was our first visit to New Orleans and we were happy enough at the Richelieu that we will stay there when we visit again.
