Perfect position

Love this beautiful hotel. The staff were so friendly and helpful and made our stay so memorable. The location is fab, right in the quarter but still peaceful. The pool area was and courtyard are perfect for cooling off and having a drink. If we return to New Orleans we will certainly return to the Maison Dupuy

The location was great. You can walk to canal street or the river in less than 10 minutes. Far enough off Bourbon that you can rest if you want to call it a early night.

Perfect to experience the Fr Quarter atmosphere

Posted Jul 4, 2014
Comfy beds, even in the less expensive rooms. Super clean. The entire hotel staff is top notch. Hats off to the valets...great job/super professional. Highly recommend the breakfast buffet. Dinner with live singer/songwriter music is probably the best in the Quarter. You have to do it at least once. This is our go-to hotel in NOLA. We don't stay anywhere else...you can walk to everything from there. And, its a couple blocks from the madness...close enough to visit, but quiet enough so you don't hear it at 3am.

Quiet yet accessible part of the French Quarter

Posted Jul 1, 2014
Pros: The quiet, the good air conditioning! the location and the friendly service.
Location: Very close to anything in the French Quarter.
We only stayed one night, but it was comfortable and enjoyable. The hotel is located in a quiet part of the French Quarter, yet just a few blocks from Bourbon Street and the river. It was an easy walk to the rest of the Quarter and yet it was like a quiet oasis. The inner balconies overlooking the pool are really peaceful and lovely. The room was quiet, very comfortable and clean. I'd stay here again without hesitation.

Nice large room.

Posted Jun 24, 2014
Pros: Easy and fast to get to from airport.
Cons: Bathrooms.
Location: Close to the Hop On Hop Off Basis St. bus location. Great Irish bar just across street with Guinness on tap as well as a very good Irish cider.
We had a 5th floor double w/view. Being top floor, the windows were quaint. Had a small fridge. Bathroom needs updating, old showerhead and mildewed curtain. Not that good a value for the money we paid. Will look for better cost effectiveness next time. Did have WIFI in rooms.

Quiet hotel in French Quarter

Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: Location was great. The secluded pool in the interior courtyard was nice.
Cons: Parking is by valet only. Difficult if you wish to run anything to your car. However very secure this way.
Location: Location was great. About 5 minutes walking from Bourbon St and the other main sites in the area.
Great hotel traveling with family in the French Quarter. Far enough away from Bourbon St to be quiet but close enough to walk to nearby attractions. Great (small) pool for cooling off after site seeing. Clean decent size rooms.
