In the perfect spotPosted Jan 24, 2015
We had a fantastic stay. Our room was ready as soon as we arrived, staff was helpful and friendly, courtyard/pool are was nice, and they have a 24 hour convenience store where you can buy soda, water, chips, and candy. The mini-store came in handy since is NYers needed a beverage and snack around 3 am and everything else was closed.

Great hotel in New Orleans French QuarterPosted Jan 20, 2015
Pros: Location was perfect. Loved the room and views. The complimentary cookies and apple cider was awesome.
Cons: Taxi service. The night before check out I asked to schedule a taxi to the airport. The front desk tried but got pushback from their doorman.
Location: Lots of places to shop and eat nearby. This hotel is steps away from Bourbon Street.
Overall a very nice experience with this hotel. The desk representatives were very nice and helpful. They accommodated our early arrival which was much appreciated.

great French Quarter ChoicePosted Jan 20, 2015
Having cruise tickets out of New Orleans seemed like a perfect opportunity to visit the City for a few days prior to our cruise. We loved it, although the weather was much colder than we anticipated. However, we were so happy with this quaint hotel offering us respite from the chill with hot cider each afternoon and hot coffee every morning. Ate several times in the restaurant. The staff couldn't fo enough for you and the concierge services were do helpful in scheduling us tours and making suggestions for our brief stay. I would definitely stsy sgsin!

Location: Awesome. Great history and entertainment. Very scenic.
My stay at the hotel was 100% satisfactory. They were super-accommodating and pleasant. The room was great, the restaurant was awesome. Truly provided a flavor of the French Quarter.

Paid extra for a balcony.Posted Jan 18, 2015
Pros: Beautiful courtyard
Cons: Durability/cleanliness of bathrooms. Posting better on line that smoking is prohibited.
Location: Accessibility to buorbon street great!
Paid extra for balcony. Placed in far corner blocking view of courtyard. No smoking sign/$250 fine if caught smoking on premises. Magnafying mirror about to fall off. No refrigerator in room. Even heard another guest complain their room wasn't serviced for an entire day. Just felt shorted.

Not worth the pricePosted Jan 16, 2015
The staff was nice and the overall charm of the hotel was wonderful. The room was just not comfortable, some of the items listed on the website that were "in" the room were actually not there. In room refrigerator, there was space for it in a cabinet but it wasn't there. Walls were paper thin. No weather stripping on door to room, lights from hallway were very bright. Far too much starch used in linens and towels. It just wasn't worth the amount we spent.

bad service and bad employeesPosted Jan 12, 2015
Pros: It is a beautiful hotel.
Location: French quarter in New Orleans. Lots to do.
The room was to hot; 32 degrees outside and we had to turn air on to sleep in room. The housekeeper said that sometimes happens. The bathtub was dirty. I mean dirt and hair. We wiped a wash cloth across it and it was dirt. They charged me twice and an employee point blank lied about it to me and my credit card rep. While on 3 way call with the rep saying she could see the charge. I have the name of employee if needed.

Maison Dupuy is a gem!Posted Jan 9, 2015
Cons: Wish that parking could be less expensive
Location: Two blocks from bourbon St. Close to all the action but far enough away to be quieter.
Clean, comfortable, beautiful courtyard and heated pool.
