“Can't wait to go back”

We have plans to go next year for Mardi Gras again and stay at Marriott, this Hotel is great and very close to the French Quarter activities.

Great hotel! Recently redecorated and it's gorgeous. The rooms, although a tad on the small side, were clean and the bed was sooooo comfortable. The hotel resturaunt, 5fifty5 was amazing too. The location is great, within walking distance to major attractions or to streetcars that will take you where you want to go. Great hotel, I highly reccomend it.

“Impressed”

From first arriving to leaving, the service was great. View from room was beautiful. From one window we could see the Mississippi, the other window we saw the French Market area. The hotel is in close proximity to all areas we wanted to see, and we also were able to catch the Street Trolley in front of hotel. Would definitely stay here again.

Incredible hotel. Highly recomended! Hotel staff was awesome and helpful. Upgrading to a sweet once we were there was resonable. Rooms were great and cleaned exceptionally well everday!

“Super Bowl Weekend”

I stayed at the marriot the weekend of Super bowl....it was very busy and packed which was expected!! The room was nice. The beds were extremely comfortable. There were three of us and we all enjoyed the stay. It was not very far from Bourban street or most everything was in walking distance. The location of this was great. The only complaint was the way the elevators are set up...you have to press the floor you are on and wait to see what elevator you take up and when the elevators were overflowing and having to stop at floors that no one was getting off. It was very annoying more than anything.

“Great Hotel in French Quarter”

I have stayed at many hotels in the french quarter includeing the Ritz and the Marriott at 555 Canal Street is by far the best stay I have had. I highly recommend to anyone going to New Orleans.

“Awesome location and good price”

1st time in NOLA and couldnt decide where to stay. I decided to try the marriot since it offered the best price. definitely wasnt disappointed. upgraded to a bigger rm which while wasnt necessary it definitely was nice. Very clean, awesome view of the mississippi (river tower)although some was blocked by the other hotel in front of it.. small bathroom, friendly accomodating service. Restaurant was just so so.. location was great.. easy walk through the french qtr w/o the loudness at night..

“Perfect Stay!”

This hotel is amazing. It is so much more appealing than other Marriott's that I've stayed at - the colors in the room are fun and festive, there is gorgeous art, the shampoo/conditioner/lotion is from Bath&Body Works, and the beds are super comfortable. The line I kept repeating over and over again all weekend was "I can't believe we are in a Marriott right now!" The location is perfect - blocks away from Bourbon St., Jackson Square, and tons of fantastic restaurants. I couldn't have been happier with our choice. I'm bringing my boyfriend to New Orleans next month and will without a doubt book the room at this Marriott.
