Nice Hotel with friendly staffPosted Feb 23, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff
Location: Just across the street from the convention center, so this would be the ideal hotel if that is your reason for visiting.
I was very impressed with the Downtown Marriott. My room had a king size bed and it was very clean and well appointed. It was easy to walk where I needed to go in the city and I had a nice run along the River Walk and along the convention side of the street. Overall I was very pleased.

Perfect location for anyone visiting the New OrleaPosted Feb 18, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff and nice room.
Location: Across the street from River Walk(Mall) and Convention Center. Walk to Fulton Street great restaurants and bars to hang out at. 3 blocks from Casino
Any hotel in New Orleans during Mardi Gras is a mad house. We felt welcome the moment we pulled up to the door. Plenty of staff to get us checked in and all employees of the hotel were nice and helpful. The hotel room was very nice and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and will go back.

Room wasn't ready and wasn't what I requestedPosted Feb 18, 2015
Asked for double which wasn't available upon two hours after check in time. Was given a king and promised a roll away bed an hour later. Actually received a queen and never received the cot. Our third person had to sleep on the floor. I was late getting to my formal event since I couldn't check in for 2.5 hours after official check in time. Terrible.

Love NOLA, Great hotelPosted Feb 16, 2015
Pros: The mini fridge, coffee, hair dryer, nice toiletries, and cozy bed and big workspace made for a comfortable stay.
Location: Across from convention center, trendy bowling alley about 2 min away, easy to find transportation, and NOLA has the best food in the US!
Loved my stay. So much withing walking distance, and you get to enjoy beautiful architecture along the way. Beautiful, clean hotel.

Nice hotel, good location, but construction noisePosted Jan 21, 2015
Pros: Clean, nice staff, good location
Cons: Noise level. They are building a new building directly beside the hotel, and construction is going to continue for months. Be aware of noise.
The hotel was nice and located across from the convention center. Rooms were clean, staff was great. Bad thing was there is construction going on beside the hotel. Construction started around 4am on one of the nights out of my 2 night stay. It was loud and no way could you sleep through it. I was up for 2-3 hours before I was able to go back to sleep.

Wonderful and close to the convention center. We didn't have to worry about trying to find somewhere else to park. Hotel was right across the street. It was very nice!

The hotel was within walking distance of everything. We walked to the super dome and the French Quarter. Very quiet, clean, and comfortable...

Overall great hotel, next to conf. centre, pricey+Posted Nov 24, 2014 on Hotels.com
Room comfort, no refrigerator in the concierge double rooms, disappointing. Overall, great hotel, across from N.O conference centre, and the Riverwalk mall. About 15 mins walk from French/Downtown quarter. Finally, prices during conference week is very high.
