NOLA's first visit.Posted Aug 24, 2014
Pros: no coffee pot in the room. they charge you extra for a room with window.
Cons: coffee pot in the rooms.
Location: near to walking distance to French quarter, Bourbon St. Canal and Riverfront.
Hotel is close to everything. Walking distance to French quarter and Bourbon. Next to shopping and restaurants. I have to pay for parking, $30 a day. No coffee pot in the room. Room is a bit small with no windows because they charge you extra for a window which is crazy. Over all stay is ok.

The hotel clerk was not very helpful I have stayed in other hotels in downtown New Orleans and for the money I was more pleased with them

Excellent LocationPosted Aug 16, 2014
Cons: The hotel could be made a little brighter.
We stayed for 3 nights, the hotel room was clean, Troy at the front desk is very lovely and nothing was a problem, also a fantastic location to Burbon St and the river, great shopping complex only a 15 minute walk from the hotel along the river. I would recommend the Natchez river boat and HIGHLY recommend the high speed river boat tour include is also a plantation tour which is very informative on early living.

Quite Cozy, a Step back in TimePosted Aug 9, 2014
Easy access to All French Quarter attractions. Ruby Slippers restaurant next door...only about 10 steps from hotel door- great breakfast! Our room was clean and the atmosphere was quiet and peaceful! Wanted a small refrigerator to keep water cold but did fine without it! Amazing Anniversary stay.

Beautiful hotel within close walk of French Quarter. Most staff members (including Troy) were exceptionally nice and helpful. If you can do without a window in your room, the inner rooms are much cheaper and nearly as beautiful. Don't miss breakfast/brunch next door at The Ruby Slipper.

Avoid this hotel if at all possible.Posted Jul 6, 2014
Pros: Located near Cafe du Monde
Cons: Attitude of front desk staff. Valet / parking Remove the POLE in the room!
Ours was a last minute reservation and we did not arrive until 11:30pm on a holiday evening. The front desk staff was rude and made it obvious she did not want to be bothered by our late arrival. I asked where to park my car and she rudely said I could "try" the parking garage "but there probably weren't any available spaces" or I could "leave it out front and the valet would take care of it." I opted for the valet. As I entered the elevator I noticed a NOLA Policeman beginning to ticket my car! I RAN outside only to be told by the policeman that I could NOT leave my car here and that this was NOT the hotel's space! Luckily the valet showed up and I was not ticketed. When I finally entered my overly priced (i.e. outrageously expensive) room -- it was a last minute reservation -- I was flabbergasted! An 18" diameter pole which ran from the floor THROUGH an OPEN HOLE in the CEILING was in the middle of the room! The bed was far from comfortable but the bathroom was clean. The ONLY good think about this hotel and experience was that (1) we spent only 8 hours in the hotel and (2) the hotel is located very near Cafe du Monde.

Great locationPosted Jun 27, 2014
It is great location for walking distance to the casino, restaurants and entertainment. The room was comfortable and cozy, but the walls were very thin you can hear everything.
