Cute hotel, near french quarter

Posted Jul 27, 2015
Pros: Location and history of being a plantation house.
Cons: Parking
Location: Restaurants in the French Quarter, shopping at outlet mall, night activities on Bourbon street.
This was a great little hotel just 1 block off canal street and walkong distance to the french quarter, bourbon street, shopping, and the Mississippi River. Friendly and helpful staff.

Nice hotel, very central

Posted Jul 20, 2015
Pros: Location
Cons: Maybe a continental breakfast to start the day
Location: The location of the hotel was excellent. We were a block away from Canal Street (which reminded me so much of midtown Manhattan, NYC).
As this was our first trip to New Orleans, we were not sure what to expect. This is a beautiful hotel. My family and I stayed in 2 rooms for 2 nights. The hotel rooms were clean, comfortable, and quiet. The front desk staff were truly excellent. They were friendly and extremely helpful. Loved the K-cup machine!

Great little boutique hotel, rooms were comfortable and a nice get away from the touristy areas. Ability to walk to many things eg. WWII museum, French Quarter, River walk ect. Mini bar fridge in room was very handy.

Great location, helpful friendly staff

Posted Jul 11, 2015
Pros: New Orleans feel, location, friendly knowledgeable staff, value.
Cons: Combination comforter with attached sheet was a little different, beds were softer then I am used to.
Location: A couple of blocks east and you are in the french quarter, a couple of blocks west at the WWII Museum, a few blocks south at the river front with outl
Was a little nervous as we drove up, looked like it was on a bit of a back street. Turned out to be perfect. Was in New Orleans a week and only moved the car once. A couple of blocks east and you are in the french quarter, a couple of blocks west at the WWII Museum, a few blocks south at the river front with outlet mall, the Aquarium and the Nachesz. Staff was helpful and courteous from the moment we stepped in the front door. An amazing breakfast/ lunch restaurant next door in the Ruby Slipper. The hotel is physically a little old, the elevator a little slow, but for the money it was a great value, on my next trip to New Orleans, no question, this is where we will stay.
