Pros: Can't think of anything
There are many fine hotels in the French Quarter...this is not one of them. The hotel is in a run down area of the French Quarter, is not very clean, worn, and in need of renovation. We were so disappointed that we left after we saw our room and booked another hotel nearby. So glad we did, as the new hotel was much cleaner, more high end and staff was great, all for about the same price.

Nice hotel. Great location. Quite. Friendly staff.Posted Feb 24, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, good location and quite for sleeping.
Cons: Fresh fruit for breakfast. Maybe some toast options instead of sweet pastries.
Location: Great restaurants nearby. Have to try alligator poppers! The best French onion soup at Tableau restaurant! Loved the shopping on Rue de Chartres!
Great experience. Good location, next to Jackson Square. Around corner to all the shops. Up the street to café du monde.

Charming, but dingyPosted Feb 23, 2014
Location: Walking distance to great restaurants and the Childrens' Museum. We easily caught a nearby streetcar to the zoo and City Park.
This hotel had great character, but was a little on the shabby side. Our room had no windows and no clock, so it felt a bit tomb-like. The bathroom was ok... not super clean. One of the bed frames was pretty crooked, but the beds were very comfortable and the linens were clean. The courtyard was gorgeous. I would ensure to get a room with a terrace overlooking it if you plan to book this hotel. The breakfast was fine (pastries and coffee/juice). The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Very New OrleansPosted Feb 17, 2014
Pros: The overall ambiance and location. comfortable beds
Cons: The housekeeping and the continental breakfast. Great coffee but only sweet rolls and no protein. Perhaps a little cream cheese and a roll or bagel?
Location: Your in the French Quarter so walking around was just perfect. 1800 house tour a block away is only an hour but so much history
I picked this hotel rather than one of the chains to experience the ambiance of the French Quarter and was not disappointed. While the room could have used a spruce up the beds were comfortable and the bathroom big and clean (although the hot water was spotty). Considering the price and location it was very nice, The courtyard would have been wonderful had it not been raining during our stay We asked to check in early (10 am) but no rooms were ready. We were called around 1 but the room we were taken to had no outside windows and I had paid "extra" for an outside room. We did actually get in at the stroke of 4

Wonderful quaint New Orleans hotel.Posted Feb 10, 2014
Stayed in the French Quarter. This hotel was in the perfect location. Half a block from Jackson Square. Close to Bourbon and Royal Streets, Pat O'Brian's, Cafe du Monde and many good places to eat. Rooms are centered around a beautiful courtyard. Great place to eat breakfast or just relax after shopping.
