Mardi Gras Splendor

Posted Feb 21, 2015
Pros: Proximity to attractions. Hotel bar had great food and drinks.
Location: Great restaurants. WW II museum. Harrah's casino. Short walk to Bourbon Street, St Louis Cathedral, French Market, Riverwalk, etc.
We had a great time in New Orleans. The Q & C hotel was a great choice. The location was close to the action but removed from the noise and crowds. The hotel bar had some great small plates and cocktails. We would definitely recommend and would stay again.

NOLA Mardi Gras

Posted Feb 20, 2015
Pros: Hotel was conveniently located, very comfortable room (bigger than anticipated), very quiet location. Easy walking distance from the Q&C.
Cons: Would be nice to be able to look out of the windows as the windows in the room were frosted over.
Location: Very convenient to Bourbon Street, French Quarter, historical area....easy to get around on foot.
First trip to NOLA. The hotel was conveniently located in walking distance to the French Quarter and historical sites in and around the area. Nice restaurants and shopping areas. Thoroughly enjoyed my trip and would like to return in warmer temperatures to do some more exploring of NOLA.

Great place to stay in New Orleans .

Posted Feb 19, 2015
Pros: The room was nice and comfortable and well appointed. The main lobby area was very nice The location was great.
Cons: Just a great hotel no downside
Location: While the front desk staff helped me with some good suggestions I only really got to walk to the Tulane hospital daily
We enjoyed our stay at the Q & C It is quite a different hotel being two building across the street or alley really from each other. I understand that the renovations were very recent and they were really well done We were to stay at the hotel for two weeks but had to cut our vacation short due to my husbands illness. The staff were very understanding and helpful to me when I was on my own. Being away from home with you husband in hospital in a strange city was difficult. We did have some telephone issues in our room but it was taken care of in a day. The food from the restaurant was good and the bar staff friendly to us old folks All things considered it was a fine stay and I would recommend the Q & C without hesitation

close to downtown

Posted Feb 17, 2015
Pros: Cool new
Cons: not anything
Only problem was it was hard to get around all the parades during Mardi Gras. This not the hotel's problem of course but if I was going back for Mardi Gras I might consider a different location so I wouldn't be blocked by a parade on the way to the F.Quarter for instance. All else was excellent, a beautiful hip hotel.

Love the modern decor

Posted Feb 10, 2015
This hotel has a modern/rustic/industrial décor and I just love it! Pillows and bed were very comfy. We stayed on the 6th floor. Bathroom was nice but the water was not completely hot. :( I like that they had a water dispenser on our floor. Hotel was very near the French Quarter. I would come back here again.
