Contemporary Chic in the Art/Warehouse District

Posted Apr 17, 2014
Location: Lots of galleries, shops and cafes such nearby. Not crazy or junky like the Quarter, which is fine if you are in the mood, but I prefer artsy cool.
Enjoyed my stay here. Staff from desk to valets to housekeeping very friendly and accommodating. Nice contemporary feel (I noted the Chihuly Glass chandeliers in the entrance) and comfortable room layout. I will stay here again.

Awesome Hotel

Posted Apr 11, 2014
Pros: Clean and fabulous staff.
Cons: Nothing that I can identify.
Location: It is located just outside the French Quarter; however, in walking distance. There is so much to do that we will have to go back for another visit!!
This was our second stay with the hotel and we were not disappointed. Everything was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. This hotel is located just far enough away from the French Quarter in order to avoid the noise and hoopla, yet still in walking distance.

Interesting hotel in quiet area of New Orleans

Posted Apr 7, 2014
The hotel is located in the warehouse district, convenient to excellent restaurants, walking distance to the French Quarter, and yet quiet location. Even though there are two bars with crowds outside directly across from the hotel, inside the hotel it is surprisingly quiet. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The lobby and public areas are filled with interesting art and sculpture. The rooftop pool area also has seating, great views of the city. Cleanliness of the room was ok, bed was not as comfortable as I would have expected. The sheet seemed to be ill-fitting and came off the corner of the bed each evening. All in all, would recommend this hotel for someone wanting to see the best of New Orleans while avoiding the bourbon street crowd.

Perfect stay

Posted Feb 22, 2014
This is a true gem. The hotel is in a safe neighborhood in what could be considered "Restaurant Row". Great places to eat along the block with many choices within a 5 minute walk. French Quarter easily accessible. Saw 2 Mardi Gras parades which finished right in front of the hotel. Rooms large and quite clean. Beds are comfortable. athrooms are average but fine. Large windows on the outside rooms. Stayed in a corner room and just enjoyed the location. Staff was excellent. Cory was great and all staff was polite and helpful. Would stay there again.

Modern and clean

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: It was clean and modern.
Cons: A hotel shuttel to the French Quarter would be wonderful.
With the exception of some rude guests (which are no reflection on the hotel itself) the stay was very pleasant.
