my experience was nice. The breakfast was good. The space was big. The wi-fi, not so much.

Comfortable, convenient and great valuePosted Dec 15, 2014
Pros: Location, location, location. Full kitchen. Great value.
Cons: Less expensive parking for guests.
Our family of 4 stayed in a 2 br / 2 ba unit and were very comfortable. Having the kitchen was enormously helpful because we stayed over shabbat, and we particularly appreciated having a full-sized fridge. The beds were clean and comfortable and the furniture and carpet were new. The building itself is dated but I'm not buying it so I don't count that as a detraction. And we had to check out on Sat. night instead of Sun. as planned because of work, but the front desk did not charge me the extra day! I am very grateful for that. The location is fantastic, very close to the outlets and the French Quarter, and also to some trendy and very good restaurants (Chef Link's Cochon and Butcher are about 2 blocks away). My only disappointment was that there were no kosher alternatives at breakfast, even if you could have looked at the containers, other than cereal, bananas and apples. But if you like waffles, eggs, sausage, potatoes, french toast, bagels, toast, english muffins, yoplait & activia yogurts, and unbranded yogurt parfaits, you will love the breakfast. This is a great value.

good price, good locationPosted Nov 3, 2014
room was comfortable - too much smoking in courtyard, it permeated the whole environment. I did not get my wakeup call one morning.

Bugs in the bedPosted Oct 24, 2014
The first room we had was nice and comfortable but the second day we found ants in the bed. We called the front desk they sent someone up who gave us kets but no luggage cart, didn't help us move our stuff or even say sorry for the inconvenience. We moved to a new room which had a wall of windows and we couldn't keep it cool. When we checked out they didn't even know about the issue we had. Not the best customer service example.

Quiet retro-inspired home away from home hotelPosted Oct 19, 2014
We found this hotel through Expedia and after looking at other options, this seemed to have all the bells and whistles. After having a very long flight due to 3 delayed/cancelled flights, it was nice to be able to come to this place of refuge. Our room had a mini kitchen (with dishwasher, utensils, plates, cups, microwave, refrigerator), living room with TV, nook, large working desk with a very nice chair and a separate sleeping room with another TV and bathroom. The only thing I would highly suggest the owner is to install an air purifier or rather because the smell of the carpets or walls was pretty obvious that I could smell it still when we came home. I would also suggest a thermostat/air condition. They have 2 ceiling fans, so it was fine, but it's always nicer to have temp. control. Also, they need to replace the bathroom fan. It didn't function at all and was loud when on. Otherwise, the place was great and the staff members couldn't be more hospitable.

Good location in New OrleansPosted Oct 18, 2014
The room was HUGE and beautifully decorated. The staff was very friendly. We had only two problems. One was that there were no pots/pans which was quickly rectified. The other was that we left our luggage the last day while we did some final sightseeing. When we returned a sport jacket was missing. After a while it was located. This was a beautiful facility. The breakfasts were outstanding. All very clean and friendly.

Really enjoyed my stay. The hotel staff were very kind and the room was clean and comfortable for the price. However there were no clean towels at the pool and when I requested more it took over 30 minutes which caused us to not use the pool. The pool was also filled with leaves.

Convient locationPosted Sep 18, 2014
Pros: That it was located in an area very near attractions and not too far from the French Quarter
Location: Canal Street was near as well as the French Quarter and other attractions.
It was a suite which was very nice and quiet. the rooms were lovely with a front view of the street. Easy to locate and a friendly staff. There was a pool, computer room and a breakfast room.
