Pros: Pool Garden staff
Cons: Bourbon street gets old after a bit
Location: Bourbon street gets old after a bit
Tell people there is an entrance/exit away from bourbon street. It allows quick access towards Jackson square. The garden and pool were very nice. Staff was friendly.

Cons: Location, Food smell in the hall
Location: Not for family
We could hear the noise from outside in the room. Our room was on top of the employees kitchen and it smelled like food when we where there. I would not recomend families to stay there.

Great hotel unless you expect to sleep.

Pros: Restaurants:
Cons: Noise
Location: I guess that's the problem: staying in the heart of New Orleans and expecting to sleep
Hotel and staff were excellent; however, noisy guest in halls until 4 or 5:am prevented my wife and I from obtaining any sleep. At a rate of $400.00 per night I expected a higher level of decorum to be maintained.

Anniversary Vacation
Posted Jan 9, 2013
Pros: Everything!!!!
Cons: Nothing!
Location: Near all the French Market attractions. Walking distance to art/warehouse district and the river.
We were on the 3rd floor with a balcony on Conti St, but it wrapped around to view Bourbon St. We were within walking distance of just about everything. Being on Bourbon you walk out in to all the action. The staff was friendly and very helpful. The too. Was clean and spacious. If you won't be staying out late and/or are a light sleeper, you don't want a balcony room. You can hear everything going on outside. It didn't bother us. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. We had no issues!

Great hotel for professionals and travelers

Pros: Location and unique decor
Cons: One rude front desk person
Location: In the middle of the French Quarter, and our room was above the courtyard, so very quiet.
Great location, quiet inside room, love the decor. All would have been perfect except for one person at the front desk who was rude. Ashley ignored us standing there waiting and continued to instruct another employee (who had checked us in on arrival and was very helpful). When I said something about being ignored, Ashley was rude. This was not good customer service, nor was it a good example to set. My question took only a few seconds to answer, and she had the time for that. On the other hand, Laura was exceptionally helpful. She was friendly, informative and willing. We already thought she was great, then, after we left, my associate realized she had left her jacket in Revolution. Laura obtained it and mailed it back to her. Really, though, Laura is charming and helpful and efficient. Despite Ashley, I would return to stay at the Royal Sonesta. The hotel was located within walking distance of the Hilton, where we were scheduled to give a talk to a big meeting, and within walking distance to all of the charms of the Quarter.

Pros: Location, cleanliness, service.
Cons: Paying for parking.
Location: Best overall location in French Quarter.
Excellent service, great location, wonderful people. The entire experience was awesome and I would recommend this property to anyone interested in staying in the heart of the French Quarter on Bourbon Street. Easy walk to Harrah's massive Casino or Jackson Square.

Location: this hotel is in the perfect spot
only recommendation - if noise and sleep are a huge issue - ask for a room on the inside/non-bourbon street side - the fun, music and games can be loud and late. otherwise the hotel was great - the staff, bar, jazz, pool area and cleanliness all wonderful. the location was also perfect.
