Good hotel

Walking distance to French QUARTER. Trolley stop right outside door. We were never able to find the so called self parking which was 3 blocks away from hotel and ended up in random parking garage. Front desk staff was okay but were short with us when we asked questions. Got the feeling that they expected us to know the area and were bothered by questions.

Clean rooms and close to many attractions

Posted Apr 7, 2014
Pros: It was clean and convenient.....a little pricey but that's New Orleans
Cons: Valet parking time-20 minutes.....should be quicker
Location: Great location-minutes from Canal-River Walk Bourbon etc walking distance
I was there on business and it served the purpose. It is centrally located. I have been to New Orleans too many times to count and this hotel ranks in the top 25% of the many hotels I have stayed.

This was a great stay for my family. Lobby is beautiful, valet parking was excellent, room was clean and comfy. Wi-fi had pretty good speeds. The staff were always courteous and friendly. Added bonus, its only a few minutes walk to Bourbon Street.

Great location!

The hotel is located right in the heart of everything! The decor of the room was very modern, the cleanness of the room was not that great. The tub didn't appear to be clean and I HATE rubber mats! Hotel didn't have any amenities (no pool, room service, etc)....thus warrants, why did we pay a resort fee? But everything is about location, location, location! Overall, Reasonable price, great location, and decent hotel.

Colorful hotel, easy stumble/walk to Bourbon st!!!

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: The colors and atmosphere of the hotel, bed was comfy. Room was Very clean and set up well. HUGE tv.
Cons: Employees lack of attention to detail, windows would be nice, WIFI should be included, nix the coffee shop
Location: In a safe location, easy walk to Bourbon St and shopping. Good food can be delivered or its an easy walk to get it yourself.
Upon arriving, there is nowhere to park or even really pull up to check in and unload, unless you're valeting. Valet Parking is $32 + Tip, they do have self park for $16 but the route was a little ridiculous to try and navigate. I would always recommend just valeting and save yourself the headache of the cheaper self park. The front desk employee was less than friendly. The room and overall d├ęcor of the hotel was pretty cool, I enjoyed all the colors and shapes, and it was really clean everywhere i looked. However, the walls are PAPER THIN. I expected some noise, as we are in New Orleans, but to hear people's full conversations as clear as if they were in the same room was kind of a disappointment. Room and Bathroom was spacious enough for us. Coffee shop downstairs is pretty awful, employees are really sweet and helpful, but the coffee is the worst. The most annoying part of it was that when we went to leave, we called the front desk to request our car and they never passed the message on to the valet service. We called 45 min before, when they said we only needed to call 15 min ahead, and then we had to wait an additional 30 min when we realized what happened. So we ended up waiting over an hour for a car when they said it was a quick service. If you're going to charge so much at least be prompt!! I'd stay again because it was safe, clean and because Bourbon St was really easy to access.
