Nice hotel good access to transportPosted Oct 16, 2013
Good stay and all as advertised. About 5 minutes walk to either riverside or canal street car stations. Only downside is there is no cutlery or crockery in the rooms....something you might expect given the rooms are advertised as suites!

Atlanta traveler thinks hotel is nicePosted Sep 13, 2013
Pros: clean comfortable bed
Location: There are nice pubs and bars in decent walking distance but the food is not as good as the eatery on Bourbon St.
Nice hotel in quiet area...but if you want to party on Bourbon St. or French Quarters or Super Dome, I suggest you go ahead and pay the money for a hotel closer because the walk is no joke....who wants to walk a mile back to hotel after drinking and partying....first visit to New Orleans....I suggest stay in the city tourist area because if you travel outside it's a whole different scenery that is not too good. Overall my family enjoyed the rivalry with Saints fans...... nice, clean hotel....RISE UP!!!

Except for the loud people swearing at 11pm at the top of their lungs, the stay was very enjoyable. We did call the front desk to complain and the noise stopped. Also, I can't say enough good things about the front desk staff - extremely helpful and friendly. We will stay here again.

Huge rooms, great location, great price!Posted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Four of us stayed in a 2 queen studio suite and were able to co exist without getting in each others way. The room was about 700 square feet so we had plenty of space. There was a separate sitting area with a couch and a pull out couch if needed. The location is very close to the convention center/cruise port and only a 10 minute walk to the French Quarter. The free daily breakfast was great too!

Close enough to walk to must see sightsPosted Aug 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was awesome. It was very kid friendly and close enough to the must see sights (children's museum, WW II museum, Audubon aquarium/ IMAX, the river walk, Audubon insectarium). It's about a 1.5 mile walk to Bourbon/Decatur St but there is so much to see on the way (make sure to have your walking shoes). The hotel is around the corner from Canal St. which has shopping, the casino, and of course lots of restaurants. It's a perfect hotel for families with children who want to see the sights without the constant noise. The hotel has a wonderful continental breakfast offered every morning. My only complaint would be that the swimming pool is small and there are a select few channels on the televisions until the weekend when it seemed like we got a few more. Other then that I thought it was an excellent choice for my family. :)
