Pros: Everything verry clean, the kitchen was a plus, the room had everything iron, hair dryer, coffee, and coffee pot, I wish I could have stayed longer.
Cons: Nothing, but if they had a pool that would seal the deal for me, I wouldnt even think about another hotel,
Location: I found a great little diner thats open right down the street thats open 24 hours, and I ate a shrimp poor boy sandwich. that was great.

Acceptable for Rate

Posted Jan 29, 2015
Pros: Easy access to the freeway, very inexpensive, kitchenette was a plus.
Cons: Adequate pots & pans to be reserved for room when requested.
Location: Convenient to the freeway but a kind of run down part of town. Easy access & fairly close to New Orleans. Conveniently close to the airport.
I booked an "unpublished deal" for a very good price. The hotel was about what I would expect for the price I paid. It was adequate for my needs. The bed was clean & reasonably comfortable. The shower had towels & hot water. The kitchenette was a bonus. It was recommended to request pots & pans for room in advance, which I did, but there were none available when I arrived. This was a disappointment. Having a stove & oven is nice but only if you have the proper equipment to use them. There was a nice full size refrigerator & I made due with microwave cooking for the week I was there. The area the hotel was located in seemed a bit rundown & not the best neighborhood. There were some "shady" seeming characters that were also staying at this hotel & quite a bit of commotion outside my door on some nights, but I didn't feel particularly unsafe. Their commotion seemed primarily directed at each other. The hotel staff tried very hard to be friendly and accommodating.

Change the spread.

Posted Jan 14, 2015
The staff was great but the room wasn't what I exspected. The spread had burn wholes in it also the tub wasn't clean so I had to run hot water and us my shampoo to clean it and also no soap. And for 70 bucks I don't think it was worth it..

Room as bad as it gets

Posted Jan 3, 2015
Pros: Surprisingly the carpet was very clean. Looked to have been recently steam vacuumed.
Cons: Get a check in attendant that maybe gives some kind of customer service at all.
Location: Stop at Chef Ron's Gumbo Stop one exit down. Amazing food.
It would probably be easier to list things that did work in the hotel room. The bathroom sink drained straight to the ground. The microwave didn't work. The stove heating elements were bent at a 45 degree angle. The shower curtain was moldy. There were no tissues in the bathroom. The drawer covers were broken off. The lady at the check in desk was rude. The bed was pretty comfy though and it was generally clean. Nice size room as well.
