Close to French Quarter and BourbonPosted Mar 12, 2014
We arrived earlier than expected so we called to see if we could possibly come in early. The guy told us 11 or 12 would b ok so that was really sweet of him. The hotel was really outdated but the bed was comfortable. We saw cigarette holes in the sheets and a washed dirt stain which grossed me out. The housekeeper came and only made the bed but didn't really straighten things up so that was odd. The area wasn't the best but it seemed safe to me. We pretty much used the room to sleep cuz we were out all day and night.

New Orleans!Posted Mar 11, 2014
Pros: Just 10 min from the French Quartet, taxis are around $18
I went during Mardi Gras season which is always more expensive, the hotel offered us a really good price, free breakfast and it was pretty comfortable. Now, this is not a Westin, but for you pay, you get a great deal.

Motel located in questionable area. Rooms are old with many signs of wear.

A little out of the way and older but well keptPosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Very helpful staff. Good computer facilities. Room and bathroom clean. Bed no problem at all. Quiet.
Cons: No safe in the room. The included breakfast lacked variety ie no hot porridge or boiled eggs and little fruit
Location: This is a potential problem if you do not have a car and are hesitant to use public transportation. There are only three food outlet nearby.
I was there for a week and felt very comfortable inside and during daylight hours outside as well. Bus system is great with helpful drivers and fellow passengers. Half hour from heart of the city but that was no problem and this hotel was priced very well below those in the centre of the city.

Great value for the pricePosted Feb 11, 2014
We stayed here for 7 days this month. All was very pleasant, clean rooms, staff was nice and courteous. The parking is a little tight, but hey, It's New Orleans after all, we were very happy at this hotel.

Was what was expectedPosted Feb 10, 2014
Pros: It had that New Orleans feel. Saved money on rooms so we could spend more on event we went to. So definately would recommend if looking for a value.
Cons: Parking was a little weird but there was enough and we managed.
Location: Not alot entertainment wise but weren't looking for it. Close to highway access to get around and pizza delivery was convenient.
Our room was just what we were expecting for the price. Hotel was easy to find, late check in was quick & easy, rooms were clean, breakfast was decent, esp. waffles. Not a resort, but for an overnight stay we couldn't have found a better value. The pool looked nice if weather permitted would have tried it.

Bad location but great MotelPosted Jan 20, 2014
Pros: Room size, clean, good mattresses, and fridge and microwave in room
Cons: Breakfast!!! It is repeating everyday. We stayed 9 days and we could not go anymore since there is no variation: waffles, toasts, cakes, 1 fruit
Location: Location is TERRIBLE, the WORST EVER. Do not stay here to visit New Orleans, just for work of if your travelling.
This Motel y comfortable, clean and affordable. We had room 321, two double beds. The room was huge, clean and included tv, coffe maker, table and 2 chairs, fridge and bathroom toiletries. The room was perfectly clean every night, but the room keepers uses to write us a note giving us her name (Ms Cathy to get a tip). This detail was really disgusting since it last for 9 nites!!! Too much for a person which stipend, I believe, is payed by the hotel and included in our room price. I recommend this motel for work trips to New Orleans or if you have a car. The parking is free and safe, but the motel is in the middle of nowhere, in Chef Monteur highway, a very dangerous place according our New Orleans friends.
