Reasonable stay for the pricePosted Jul 1, 2015
This hotel worked well for us because we could park our car free during our cruise. The rooms were fine, but the beds were just okay. The tub and shower could have used a good scrubbing. It was close to a WalMart, which was nice.

Prima hotelPosted Jun 28, 2015
Pros: Vlakbij snelweg
Goed hotel, bij aankomst denk je wat voor buurt is dit, maar dat valt mee. Met de auto zo de snelweg op naar het centrum.

This motel is in East New Orleans, about 10-15min away from French Quarter but well worth the price for a short drive. It is older but the room was very clean, had fridge & microwave. The continental breakfast was included and had the waffle maker, juices and cereal, etc. Worth it if you don't need to stay right by the French Quarter.

A Diamond in the RoughPosted May 20, 2015
Pros: STAFF! Vintage NOLA type building, secure parking, convenience of loading and unloading, large clean room.
Cons: Location is good for getting around the city easily, but very poor for anything else.
Location: We did not find anything nearby that we might have wanted to do, except perhaps to explore the large abandoned hotel next door.
Check in was cheerful, accurate, and quick. Secure parking was immediately available. Staff were as helpful as concierges in recommending restaurants and attractions. Room was larger than expected, clean and apparently well -maintained. We did not expect to walk anywhere or use public transportation, although we were told it was available. This is a great place to stay if you arrive by car and expect to do business or explore the city and environs by car. We were able to access any part of the city faster than our friends who stayed in the Garden District at twice the room price.!

Super Preis/LeistungsverhältnisPosted May 7, 2015
Pros: Nettes, hilfsbereites Personal, Zimmer sehr sauber, Kühlschrank, Mikrowelle, teilw.

Centralized location, Great StaffPosted May 4, 2015
Pros: The staff and location.
Location: In terms of attractions to see, there is not much within 15-20 blocks. However, there is a nearby Walmart and stores to west for supplies and food.
This hotel was a very good place to stay. I was attending New Orleans Jazz Fest and was looking for a good, economical place to stay. Its location and staff are the best thing about this place. The local staff was very cheerful, knowledgeable, and friendly. Their cleaning staff did a great job in keeping it clean. They used their local knowledge to save me a lot of money especially in parking fees and places to eat considering the area had significantly raised their rates for the Jazz Fest attendees. The hotel is located beside a major highway and easy to get to. It is located next to a major bus line so you can get around by public transportation if needed. The area/neighborhood around the hotel looks like it was hit hard by Katrina and never fully recovered. There were a lot of empty, overgrown lots nearby. There is a good selection of shops and fast food stops west of hotel over the waterway.
