“Excellent hotel”
great for business or fun travel in New Orleans.......................................
“Awesome”
Under construction, amazing staff made the visit a real southern feel.
“Wonderful experience”
Super easy check-in, very fast check-out. The room was clean and equiped with all the extra doo-dads to make ones stay more comfortable. Close enough to the French Quarter to walk, just a few blocks from the casino, aquarium and riverwalk. Convenient to the business district too. I will stay here again when I come back to NOLA.
“One bedroom review”
First time visitor of New Orleans and the Blake Hotel. The hotel staffs were very kind and extremely helpful. The staff got me in my room 3hrs earlier than the required check in time which is at 3pm. Room was smaller than anticipated but the room was very clean, had plenty of towels n rags which is important. This is not what I call a 5 star hotel but definitely qualify for 3 star hotel. Definitely would recommend the hotel to couples if opted for a queen size one bedroom.
“"Great Stay At The Blake!”
The staff just needs to be a bit friendlier. Also the hotel needs to add free parking for guests who are staying at the hotel. Paying $35 for valet parking is a bit ridiculous.
“Perfect location.”
Covenient location for events at Superdome. Great cafe attached to hotel.
“nice place to stay”
Nice hotel within walking distance of the french quarter. Friendly staff with great attitude and very helpful. The parking is expensive don't leave anything in your vehicle.
“EXCELLENT VALUE FOR A LOVELY HOTEL”
Pros: Hotel has been recently upgraded, and it is an excellent value. Our room was spacious, with lovely furnishings and a great view of the city from two huge picture windows. Location is very close to all of the action, but far enough away for a quiet sleep. It's right on the St. Charles street car line. Attached restaurant had a very good breakfast. Cons: We were given a key to an occupied room - oops! Fortunately, when we unlocked the door and walked in, the occupant was dressed. (Unlike what happened to us when we walked in on a half clothed woman years ago in a N.Y hotel). Hall had a bucket to catch leaking water; not very pleasant to see, but we chalked it up to the new construction. Elevator is also used for maintenance workers, who keep it stopped on the floor where supplies are kept, so it takes forever for it to get to guests who are waiting.
“a nola find-with a few tweaks”
this hotel will be a great find once the renovation is complete, ask for an updated room. the first room i was given had no hot water and an uncomfortable bed but jeremy was quick to move me one of their upgraded rooms. what a difference. super bed and so much nicer. hotel is on the streetcar line and far enough away from the quarter to not be bothered by noise. dont miss the fresh squeezed oj in the morning once the upgrades are complete this hotel will be one of the best i have stayed in new orleans and i am counting the big name chains that populate the area.
“Nice stay”
A nice stay for the price, close to sights worth seeing and convenient for city transportation
