We had a great time! The house is beautiful, as is the tropical oasis pool and patio area. There is even a small library in the house with books about travelling the world. We will definitely go back again as soon as we can.

We stayed at the Greenhouse Inn for the 2nd weekend of Jazz Fest 2011. The service, rooms, and location were excellent. Loved the pool, loved the neighborhood! We hope to be there next year - same time!

“New Orleans Magic”

The stay was perfect. Could easily stay a week. Rooms were comfortable even in the hot weather. The bed was just right and so luxurious. Bathrooms a bit small but who cares? You're not in New Orleans to hang out in the bathroom. Breakfast options are offered. The pool area is unique and lush. For the most part and older, mellow guests. The area is perfectly located out of the hustle and bustle but easy to get to the hustle and bustle. Frank was a charming host with a sweet sparkle of life emanating from him. They even have a Macaw, named Rio, that hangs out by the pool. If you want a special experience in New Orleans this place will add to the magic.

“Excellent alternative to a big hotel.”

The Green House Inn is a Bed and breakfast in a beautiful old house in a centrally located neighborhood. The staff was excellent at making us feel comfortable and directed us to many good restaurants. Our room was romantic and charming and the bed was extremely comfortable. I will definitely stay here again.

“Enjoyed our stay”

A nice hotel for adults. About a 4-5 block walk to the Trolly line. We know New Orleans so walking to the French Quarter was no problem. Staff very helpful and enjoyed the history and gardens of the Green House. We were there on the weekend so traffic noise wasn't a problem. Not sure how the week days would be. Would stay again there.

my friend and I just got back from our stay at the greenhouse inn for 2 nights. the house was beautiful and incredibly charming....the hospitality was southern, for sure....we felt right at home! quiet neighborhood that was an easy walk to the french quarter and garden district area. very pretty pool area for sunbathing and hot tub. great experience overall and we'd definitely would go back!
