“Comes through again”
We choose The Ritz in New Orleans because it is always nice and staff wonderful.
“Fabulous shelter in the craziness of NOLA”
The minute we stepped into the hotel we felt it was a stark contrast and a calm shelter from the wild atmosphere of Bourbon Street. A gorgeous hotel with real class.
“New Orleans finest”
Great Hotel and an incredible staff. We will go again and again. Cant wait!!
“not impressed”
after staying at other ritz carlton's, i would have to say this one looked a little old , drab and poorly maintained. the service was nice, but the condition of the hotel left a lot to be desired.
“Great place to stay near the French Quarter”
My wife and I spent a night at the Ritz last week. The staff, from the front desk to the doormen to the cleaning staff, was friendly and helpful, the room and the hotel in general were immaculately clean. We would definitely stay there again
“Definitely gonna stay this hotel again”
My husband and I really enjoyed our staying. We had breakfast and Sunday branch there. The staff there are very nice, and we had wonderful time there. Definitely gonna stay there when we visit New Orleans again.
“New Orleans Ritz”
Even though the hotel was nice, it really didn't meet the standards of what I would expect of the Ritz. For example, when the cab dropped me and my friend off at the entrance of the hotel, the valet didn't offer to take our bags in. Maybe since they saw they were small rolling bags, it wasn't necessary. Also, the concierge was extremely pleasant, but unfortunately, wasn't well informed. We asked for info regarding the Arts Fair in Palmer Park and she gave us instructions for taking a streetcar that would involve us walking for about 30 minutes, where there is another streetcar that would have left us 1 block away. I will say that the personnel was extremely pleasant and the spa is beautiful.
“Don't stay here if you want any sleep...”
The hotel was nice and the staff was friendly, but our room faced Canal Street (they called it a "city-view" room). The large windows were only single-paned glass and every car and motorcycle that drove by sounded like it was in the room with us. We barely slept. If you stay here, do yourself a favor and request a room that doesn't face the busiest street in New Orleans.
“Nice Weekend Getaway”
Had a great weekend in New Orleans. The hotel is in a great and safe location. They were very responsive to our requests. Brought a refrigerator very quickly when requested upon check-in. I find the parking fee a little high, but everything else was great.
“Location is great but needs updates”
We stayed at this property over New Year's eve and were very pleased with the location. The hotel itself is very confusing to get around and we did have some issues with service. The front desk folks were very responsive when asked but had some issues with housekeeping. The room was comfortable but had a few broken items and was not up to the RC standard we had experienced elsewhere. The other guests were very friendly, something we have not experienced at most RC properties. There seemed to be a sense of community and that was refreshing. Bottom line - we will not stay again until the hotel is updated.
