Hotel with an impeccable services

Posted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: The personal attention given consistently.
Cons: Just never close; the service is indescribable.
Location: Located within walking distance to French Quarters, the Green Car (Awesome Tour), Trolley cars right out the door, shopping, and great food (Drago).
Everything an individual looks for on vacation; comfort, individualize personal attention, needs met before you can ask. I will only stay at the Ritz Carlton, when in New Orleans. Thanks for the experience.

Great hotel but they charge $50 to park your car!

Pros: Very plush
Cons: Reasonable parking fee
Location: French Quarter
Great hotel (and pricey) but the parking charge is excessive.

The hotel is a classic grand hotel with attentive staff and very well appointed rooms. I think we had one of the smaller rooms yet it still had a large floor plan and 9-10 foot ceilings. The only downside for me would be the location on Canal St, but that's easy enough to get over for the comfort of this hotel.

My husband and I spent a long weekend in New Orleans and thoroughly enjoyed this hotel. It is away from the hustle and bustle of Bourbon St., geared toward the more mature traveler. We spent one evening in the lounge listening to a wonderful jazz band and watching the guests dance. Relaxing! We will stay at the Ritz again when visiting New Orleans.

Pros: Staff. Good location
Cons: Nicer lobby entrance off canal
Good over all.....staff really friendly and kind!! ....room a bit small and dusty under furniture.....caulking around tub kinda old and moldy looking ...needed attention Really enjoyed the live jazz.....food served was really good.....even the late night room service pizza! over priced parking!!! .....$50 a night for guests!! Really? More than the rental car costs!! Expected a parking fee but if I had read the fine print, I may have searched around for another hotel......

Pricey, but nice. It is one block from bourbon street which why its more in price. You can stay in a nicer hotel for a little less money by the markets.

I called for Valet and no one went get my vehicle so I had to wait. Another time I had to go wait downstairs to get valet to bring my car. The rooms were very small. The A/C was not working in the room great and everything looked outdated.

Pros: Very good location
Cons: resolve the elevators problem
we had a wonderfull time , the only thing i didnt like is that you have to change elevators everytime you go in or out of the hotel and sometimes it reaaly took some time to the elevator to come , sometimes we stood in line to go up to our room and took over 10 minutes , come on its THE RITZCALRTON
